Rover-
I layed by a small oak tree in the park watching the people and other dogs running and laughing. I sighed and got up walked around watching everyone when I seen one particular dog I watched her walk. I decided to go up to her I walked slowly when a little friend of mine kinda got in the way. "Rover!" she barked the little chihuahua she was. "Yes Sophia" I said looking down at her as she walked beside me. I noticed the dog was gone I looked around for her and turned to Sophia. "Hey Soph,You seen that female walking by?" I asked her. "Uh yeah Rover she went that way" She said as we walked in that direction

She turned her head back and forth, nose and ears pricked. Her last meal was one day ago, and she was really hungry. Her ears stood up as she heard voices. Tail wagging slightly, Gen spotted two dogs. Her fur bristled slightly, but other then that she stood stiffly and stared at them.

(I woke up a few minutes ago xD My hands are numb)

Rover-
I wagged my tail slightly as she stopped and stared. "Sophia stop walking there she is" I said to her as she stopped "Hey Rover she looks hungry you should uh bring something to her" She said. I found a couple's picnik table as they walked down the park I snooped in the basket and found a sandwich I grabbed it and slowly walked up to the other dog Sophia right behind me. I stand infront of her and set the sandwich down pushing it towards her.

I flicked my tail as one of the dogs pushed a sandwich towards me. I looked at the sandwich before pawing it towards my body, leaning down to sniff at it.

"Im Rover" I bark softly watching her as she smells the sandwich. "And thats Sophia" I say as Sophia is curiously looking back at the picnik basket.

I took the sandwich in my jaws. "Hello," I said around the sandwich. "My name's Gen." I struggled to eat the sandwich. I then dropped it and started tearing and ripping at it, frustrated.

"Well hello Gen" I said as Sophis returned with another sandwich shr bit off a peice for her and gave me the rest. "Hi Gen!" She says wagging her tail while eating he rpeice of sandwich. "Your from around here? Ive never seen you before" I say biting and shaking my sandwich.

Gen sat down, mouth still full of sandwich. "I'm never anywhere," she said. "I belong nowhere, and I'm never anywhere permanently." She swallowed down the food and sat there stiffly, eyes on the two dogs.

"Oh Have you ever thought about wanting an owner" I say laying down next to Sophia watching her as I ate the rest of my sandwich.

I flicked my tail back and forth, the stomach light in my belly. "I can survive on my own," I answered, voice soft. "What about you two?" I lifted my head, tone lifting.

"Well uh Sophia here has an owner that lets her out every morning free to do whatever and come back when she feels and I had an owner she uh died so I ran away so I survive on my own" I say glaring at the other dogs in the park.

I flick my tail. So, one of the dogs had an owner.. I didn't say anything, just blinked. "That's nice to know," I murmur.

I sighed looking at her she didnt seem to happy I thought maybe I could cheer her up. "Yeah.." I say fading out

I got up and stretched, toes spreading. "Well, I'd better go."

"Oh okay well see you around" I said not wanting her to go but didnt know what to say watching her get up I sighed.

I flicked an ear. "Are you sure you two have somewhere to go?"

"No not really I usually sleep in the park with a few other dogs" I said wagging my tail softly

I blinked a few times. "There's a park around here?"

"Yeah its around the corner" I said looking over at her

I scratched my ribs with my right hind leg. "Hm.. I've never seen that park before."

"Really? You should come then its pretty nice" I say wagging my tail slowly.

I shook out my pelt. "Could you take me there?" I asked.

"Yeah, Sure" I said as I started walking looking back at her every few seconds it wasn't very far.

I followed them, my ears pricked.
