Karma

Karma bit her teeth deep into the shoulder of the other dog. The dog howled and thrashed beneath her, and Karma removed her bloody teeth from his shoulder and sunk them into his throat. He let out a gurgling yelp, and Karma dug her paws into the bloody ground as the dog swung his paws around. He stopped moving, and Karma stepped away, staring at the dead dog. His throat was torn open, along with his shoulder ripped. The crowd booed- they had been rooting for her opponent. Even though Karma looked thin and scrawny, she was extremely strong. The crowd seemed to forgotten that, and they had placed their bets on the bigger, 'stronger' dog. But he had lost. Karma stared at the crowd, her eyes cold and angry.

This is what she had become- a murderer. She had to murder dogs every second, minute, day of her life. Karma remembered when she had lost a match when she was younger- her owner her beaten her. Well, the person wasn't really her owner. All he did was feed her, then throw her in a ring and watch her kill innocent dogs that had been stolen from their owners. Karma sighed as the people threw things at her- stones, rocks, pencils, lint, paper clips- whatever they had in their pocket.

The workers grabbed Karma's collar and dragged her back into the stalls. She was thrown back into her stall, and the door was locked. Karma sighed again and stared through the wire mesh as another dog was dragged out of his cage and out into the fighting ring. She wished she could warn them. These dogs wore fancy collars, their pelts glossy and well groomed. A few had bows in their fur, or fancy little shoes on their soft paws. Karma cleaned blood from her fur and then drank from her water bowl. The water tasted like blood, and Karma shook herself before collapsing on the wooden floor. She would have to rest, unless she wanted to get beaten...

-okay. this is my first time doing my dog fights thing. when the new dog (male) comes, they plan to escape. when they escape, then fall in love.. blah blah blah.

I'll join with Sprocket. yuo can get an idea of him from my second chances post. It might take me a bit, but I'll get a good post in. and he is around her size.
