Snowstorm [M] (Stormsong)

Dutch walked through the icey wasteland, the cold and bitter winds not making him cold, or the wind whispering at him to come back. The white tiger was just passing through, but something told him that he should live here. Maybe it was the way the cracked and dead trees held the snow, or the way the frosted snow beneath his large paws cracked with every step he took. All Dutch knew was that he was walking, and he wasn't about to turn back now.

Mailou was perched in a nearby tree when she heard the sound of pawsteps below her. She lifted her head and craned her neck to see who it was. Her keen blue eyes caught the movement of a male white tiger. With huff, she jumped from the tree and landed on the ground directly in front of him. "Stop! Who are you? Why are you here?" she asked her voice as cold as her surroundings.

(I don't know if tigers climb trees. :S)

Dutch lifted up his paw in surprise as a female white tiger dropped out of one of the trees and landed in front of him. He curled his lip into a snarl. "Why does it matter to you?" he spat, the fur on his tail standing on end.

(I think they do owo since regular tigers can climb trees)

"Becasue this is my territory you big pussy!" she snapped back.

(Why is it that whenever we roleplay with each other our characters always end up fighting each other? :S)

(Fighting is fun : D)

Dutch snorted. "Whatever." He went around the female and continued on his way through this female's 'territory.'

"Don't you 'whatever' me!" Mailou snarled and quickly moved so that she was in front of him. "You cannot pass through with out my permission!"

Dutch let out an annoyed sigh. "I'm just passing through," he snapped. He looked around at the bare land. The only thing to decorate it was a few hills, some trees, and what looked like a frozen lake. He could make out some burrows, but he was too far away to actually tell. "It's not like I want any of your... territory." He bit back a snort and flicked his tail, getting annoyed. "Like I said, I'm just passing through."

(Maybe Mailou can, like, try to kill him or something. I dunno.)

Mailou gave a menacing roar and leapt onto the male's back.

Dutch heard a roar behind him, and then gasped at the sudden weight on his back. When he realised it was the female, he, too, let out a roar and struggled to throw her off. "Get off me!" he yowled. "Are you crazy?"

Mailou raked her claws down his back and leapt off. "I will not have some male watlz leisurely through my territory and not put up a fight!" she snarled.

Dutch felt blood seeping past his shoulders, and he snarled angrily at the female. "You want a fight?" he spat. "Come and get one!" He leaped at the female, his claws outstretched.

Mailou tried to move out of the way but the male was slightly faster. He landed on top of her.

He lowered his muzzle dangerously close to hers, and he snarled in her face. He had her carefully pinned down so she couldn't attack him. "Let me pass through," he said calmly.

"Fine, you have proven your worthy enough," she huffed under his weight. "Now let me up," she demanded.

Dutch snorted and climbed off of her, limping away through the snow. A cold wind sliced through his fur, and he sighed and relaxed his shoulders. The cold took away the pain from the wounds the female gave him. Even though he wanted to stay here longer, he needed to get through this female's territory.

Mailou scrambled to her paws and stared after him. "Why are you here anyway?" she asked.

Dutch sighed softly as he heard her paws scrabble over the snow, then twitched his ear as the female spoke. Not turning to her, he replied, "Away from here. You have no idea how lucky you are to have such a beautiful land to call your own." Then he continued to walk through the white tigress's territory.

Mailou stopped and narrowed her eyes. "I have had this land ever since I was a cub. I inherited it after my parents died. I would have assumed a tiger such as yourself would have had a territory to call his own by now," she explained.

Dutch rolled his eyes. "Why would I need a territory?" he replied, exasperated. "I have all this land to explore."

"Are as dim as a cub?" Mailou snapped, lashing her stripped tail. "You need a territory so that you can hunt on!"

"I hunt on the territories I come apon," the tiger replied calmly. He whipped his head around to face her. "Not all of us want to settle down in one place," he added, showing his teeth.

"Maybe I should escort you through my territiory, I don't want you stealing my prey," Mailou coldly suggested. She didn't like the idea of travelling eith this strange male but it was the only way ensure that he didn't take her prey.

Dutch sighed. "Fine. But you're stepping onto broken ice if you think I'll hunt here," he added in the same cold voice.
