Some Things Can't Cover What You Really Are (Zelda) (PG-13)

Chika's gaze drifted over the ravine, trailing over every little visible nook and cranny possible. Her soft golden eyes picked out where birds nested, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth as they fed the awkward pink babies that chirped constantly. The wind pushed against her, sending her mane and tail streaming out behind her and revealing a face of pure innocence, or so it seemed. Everything was warm, soft with the hazy golden evening sun that lay half way behind one of the jagged peaks. The air was filled with the fragrance of flowers, with a hint of the musty earth beneath her hooves. Nothing stirred, other than the gentle rustle of leaves behind her, caused by the wind. Chika put a small hoof forward, gently moving some stones from their place, and sending them spiraling down into the ravine. She stood on a rugged outcrop, looking down over the edge with her wings tucked tightly to her sides. Her eagle like eyes helped her find the hidden secrets hidden deep withing the jagged gash in the Earth's surface. She saw the varied foot prints of a wolf pack stalking an injured deer, the shadows of wilting plants, and a small mouse that scurried away from a hawk that flew over head. The pegasus gave off an aura of innocence, but her breed was naturally wise, giving her an edge. Her small frame made her seem almost foal like from a distance, small and innocent.
