Will

Will lifted his nose up in the air as a caught a waft of a wild pig. He raced in the direction, hoping it would be an easy kill. when he arrived at the source, he saw a human and another dog. He began to growl, and curled his lip up. he let out a few aggressive barks, hoping to scare the human off. he knows that humans are scared easily by ferocious dogs, so he tried to appear that way.

"you're a pet! you dont need that food as much as i do!" Will snarled. He continued to face her. (sorry)

Rhao narrowed her eyes. "And how is that my problem?" she asked, placing a hind paw on the wild pig's rough carcass.

Will faced her, challenging her for the food. he needed it. He began to snarl and bark very aggressively, and dove at her, attempting to bite her. hopefully only a nip to the side would scare her off once she saw that he wasn't scared to hurt her.

Rhao snarled at smacked him away, sending a warning nip to his side. She would kill this dog if he was a threat to her human. "Get away, unless you want to die," she barked.

will grew enraged. how dare she challenge herself to a wild dog!? he was obviously stronger. he was the male! he had to survive out here while she grew fat on dog treats. no pet would show him up!

but then his senses kicked in, and he stood up, and walked away. he didnt want to get into a fight, he was just hungry. He would find food elsewhere.

an hour later, he sniffed up a buried dead rodent that a fox had buried. he dug it up and wolfed it down, tossing his head up as he enjoyed the meal.

She watched him go. with a cold snort, she grabbed the pig's leg and drug it back to the cabin. when she reached it, her owner was sitting in front of the window, his hunting gun pointed at her. she dropped the leg and barked. He removed his eye from the target-thing(i don't know anything about guns) and his finger from the trigger. "Rhao," he growled. "Bring that pig in here. Did you kill that nasty mutt?" Rhao didn't bark or growl or anything. She just scratched at the door with her claws until he opened the door. Instead of patting her on the head, he snatched the pig away and slammed the door in her face. She yelped as the door nearly cut her nose off. "Get out of here!" The bang of the gun rung in her ears, and she scrambled backwards. "I have no use for you anymore!" the man screamed, shooting at her once more. Ravens took to the air, wings beating loudly. Rhao turned around and dashed into the forest, tail in between her legs.

Will heard several gunshots and assumed it was the man hunting again. 'that greedy man killing more than he needs' will grumbled to himself. He trotted off, no longer hungry from the rodent.

Will was just settling down for an afternoon nap in the cool leaves next to a pond, when he heard something. He tilted his ears and eyes towards the sound, not giving much of a bother, but when the animal came into sight, Will lifted his head, pinpointing his focus on the animal. A low growl built in his through at the unfamiliar creature entering his vision. He didnt release a bark yet, but the growl started to work its way up to his mouth.

Rhao skidded to a stop, panting and huffing. Her tail swayed behind her. The ringing of the gun going off still echoed in her ears, and her eyes were wild with fear. This can't be happening, she told herself. "This is all a dream," she mumbled, staring to pace in circles. "It's fake. I'm going to wake up."

(so that smily was a person with its lips stitched together?)

A bark erupted from Will's thought. He stood up and barked again.

Rhao turned her head, ears pricked to find the source of the bark. "Who's there?" she called, barking once more.

Will barked again. His haunches were raised and muscles tensed, ready to fight.

Rhao bristled. "Come out, you coward!" she snarled, barking fiercely.

Will sprinted towards the figure and leaped, pinning her to the ground. "how dare you call me a coward when you dont know who you're up against!" Will snarled in fury.

Her eyes widened with shock as she realized it was the male from earlier. She struggled beneath him, not wanting a whine or yelp to suddenly come out of her throat. "Get off me!" she spat.

Will leaped off her, hi hackles still raised. "what do you want?" Will said still sour at her. "come to steal some more food from me?" He said, his lip still curled back.

Rhao narrowed her eyes. "I didn't still anything from you," she snarled. She refused to acknowledge the thought that she was in his territory and that he had every right to kill her.

"well then leave!" Will snapped his jaws at her. not actually touching her, but just giving her a warning.

"I am, I am," Rhao growled, wagging her tail slowly in submission. She stalked forward, head lowered in a grumpy way.

Will stood still in fighting position unitll she was out of sight. he then layed down and closed his eyes for a nap.
