Arya Wanders In

~Arya~

My eyes glance around me quickly, almost nervously. No one in sight. I sigh and step out of the trees in a clearing with long strides, my hair tied behind me. The wind tugged at my clothes gently, blowing my hair that was tied up.

Murtagh~
I see an Elf girl walk in and hold my breath as I sit in a tree. My dark hair swirled around me as I watch her, a statue. I study her warily; I had been through far too much in my life to not be. I can't help wondering who she was, though she would never even think of someone like me. My life had only been a tangled mess ever since I was born.

Arya~

I feel someone watching me adn spin around, whipping out my sword.
"Who's there!" I demanded, ears listening, eyes darting around, taking in everything. I finally spot the man in teh tree and a low growl rises from my throat.
"Who are you," I ask, my voice steady.

Murtagh~

I tense and freeze when I see her eyes land on me. A moment later I slide from the tree and land lightly on teh ground with my knees bent to absorb the impact of the drop. I stand up straight and look at her, my longish black hair falling over my eyes.
"I am Murtagh," I say, my voice just loud enough for her to hear.

Arya~

I wztch him warily.
"What are you doing here?" I ask, my sword lowering slightly when I saw that he wasn't about to attack.

Murtagh~

I shrug.
"Wandering. By the way, may I know your name as well?" I ask, watching her.

Arya~

I hesitate a moment, tehn lower my sword all the way, watching him as I put it in its sheath.
"Arya Drottingu," I say, watching him still.

Murtagh~

I watch her for a moment.
"What about you?" I ask. "What are you doing here?"

Arya~

I shrug.
"Trying to get away from parents, and looking for someone who will actually accept me for who I am," I say.

Murtagh.

"So a friend?" I ask curiously, not sure why.

Arya~

I look up at him.
"Yeah, I guess..." I say, watching him.

Murtagh~

I shrug and sit down.

Arya~

I go over to him and sit down a few feet away.
"What?" I ask. I didn't know him very well, but I could tell when someone was thinking.

Murtagh~
I look over at her.
"Nothing really," I lie, too quickly.

Arya~

I look at him curiously.
"Yeah, sure, and I'm the tooth fairy, now what's wrong?" I ask, suddenly curious.

Murtagh~

I sigh softly.
"Just thinking about things in life," I say, looking away from her.

Arya~

"Like what?" I ask, frowning slightly. Why did guys always have to act all mysterious-like? I wonder to myself.

Murtagh~

"Just about my family," I say, a bitter taste in my mouth.

Arya~

"What about them?" I ask, then close my mouth quickly.
"Sorry, I'm not meaning to pry..." I say, looking away from him.

Murtagh~

I look at her quickly, anger in my eyes. Then it fades quickly.
"No, no, it's fine," I say with a wave of my hand.
"It's just that I never knew my mom, at least not very well," I say after a long moment.

Arya~

"And your dad?" I ask gently.

Murtagh~

I look at her quickly.
"And my dad is a lying idiot who only cares for himself," I say angrily.

Arya~

"You can't mean that," I say softly, though I knew he could.

Murtagh~

I glare at her.
"Oh? Would your father throw a sword at you?" I demand, jumping up. I twist around and raise my shirt, exposing my back to the air. A long scar stretched from my left shoulder to my right hip.

Arya~

I gasp softly, looking at it. I pull my eyes away from him.
"At least you knew who your father was," I say quietly, my voice barely audible.
