Everything is cursed

Midnight Shadow~
In the beggining was a castle high on a craggy preicice.The air was so low that is seemed the sky itself would crack like ice.
Night was starting to fall around its walls,and the great stone stairway.Which rose up and up towards the castle through the vaulting pines.
The huge weathered steps into darkness,and the shadows reached out from the forest far below clawed their way towards a little village,
nestling just beneath the cliffs.
All around the sky was draining with color,the air growing pale and bloodless,as the drying circle of the sun finally disappeared behind the crags.Beyond the castle,the range a the Carpathian Moutains rose into the distance,like mighty clouds frozen into lonly monoliths below an ifinite heaven.
The confeirs climbing the vally slpes were laden with snow,and their tops smoked eerily in the commng darkness.

Now and then a mound of snow would topple to the forest floor with a muffled thud that quivered through the air like a boom of distant thunder.
It was the only sound in the wood.the stilness that settled now across the country was as deep as the blackness beggning to swallow up Transylvania,the land before the forest.

But there was life in the wood:a single pair of hungry seaching eyes.They were moving rapidly through the twilight,glittering furiously in the shadows as they came.There intelligence,the anceint cunning of the predator,and there febrile,nervous brilliance made them seem throughly human.But they were far from human--for they belonged to lera,a wild animal.There was a longing and profound curiosity in those strange,semitransparentorbs,and as night swelled they became even more aware of the shadow world around them.
As the darkness thickened,the wolf's pace through the trees grew even faster and its pupils opened wider,seeming in the last rays of light.Then,as it came too a sudden stop at the edge of the wood,and peeed out toward the glow of the fires from the village at the edge of the valley,those eyes changed color.For wolves have a power that men himself long for,The power too see in th dark.Gold sunddenly turned too a brilliant greenish-yellow.It was a gray wolf,common to Transylvnaia,but its strenght and size was unusuall.It was clearly an draggan female wolf,dominant by its pack--But it was bigger then most,its fur was a beautiful black and white,and its tail was white with a patch of black.It had a strong gorgeous face,with brilliant white fangs,and its gums as pink and heathly as the flesh of a new plum.

i walked through the land i was a lone wolf and had ben for years... i was rather strange as well... my paw made no sound as my black eyes darted around and my grey coat bladed in nicely... this place seemed strange and i was curious of course...i wondered around exploring until i saw the female and the pack and went over curiously.. i also had scars buried in my fur and one across my left eye... i wondered there but kept a good distance hiding myself before going back and looking around this intrigueing place with my black eyes curious as ever... my teeth were pure white as well i seemed rather daring since i even knew i was in anothers territory

From where the wolf was standing she could just spy humans moving aroundon the edge of the valley,stooping in the middle of the night to collect wood for there fires,and her nose curled into a begginnings of a snarl.But suddenly a wind raked the forest,and in the surrounding air giant flakes began to flurry frm the heavens.The wolf swung up her head and there was fear in her eyes.
"It's starting again," she growled bitterly."The cave.I must too find the cave."
The wolf started to run once more.To ordianry eyes she was almost invisible amoung the darkness line and seemed to float as he came.Her ears were up and her sences alert that her muscles quivered as she ran.But she had hardly gone anyway at all,when she heard a snap of a twig in the wood.She swung around instantly and the snarl that came from hr jaws had a killing threat in it.But as another muzzle appeared through the trees,the wolf relazed alittle,although her eyes were still blazing.
"palla"she cried.

i spotted humans and growled slightly my black eyes then spotted the female again and i went over curiously... "who's Palla?" i asked since i had heard her earlier... i sat down a fair distance away since she looked ratehr angry and i knew beter than to go near and angry she-wolf unfortunatly i learnt that the hard way

"My friend"i growled
The male comming toward her was a domiant also or dragga,as wolves call them,and he had a beautiful sleek muzzle and bushy gray ears.He was lean and graceful as a Moutain Leopard.Only exhaution spoke in his words.her yellow eyes began to wary and attentive as they flickered like little lights in the darkness.this was before the time,some three hundered years later,when men would hunt the wolf and the forest too almost extinction,and there were ten of thousands of grays still roaming wilf and free through the trees.But the wolves have learned from birth to fear men above all the perdators,for he was a merciless hunter of their kind.And all too aften the wolves have suffered,too,when Transylvaina was caught in the grip of his frequent and terrible battles.

i lay down showing her i meant no harm "i really won't do anything.. what's your name?" i asked her my voice was gentle and i let my black eyes watch her

I looked down at him,"Midnight Shadow,or just Midnight,yours"i said
Tranlyvaina was the anceint name for a region that lies in the very heart of Europe.A strange and mysterious country,rich in folklore and tales of darkness and superstition.A country of soaring moutains and fertile valleys that borders the lands that men know as Russia and the mighty forest that once edged the realm Hungary.

"i'm called Noon Sharp, or just Sharp..." i answered and bowed my head "what are you doing here anyway, i'm a kerl so i wonder around you?"

"Midnight!,Brassa is injured,weneed too get her to the cave and quick."palla howled and looked at he new wolf then at me."who is this"palla growled."this is Noon sharp"i said and looked at him,palla snorted."we have to get going."i said and turned too Noon sharp,"please come" i said
Palla~

i stood up and nodded before following.. i was curious if anythign at what was going on...

"Brassa!"i yowled and ran toward her,i started to lick her wound.

i sat a fair distance away to show my respect but i still examained the wound from where i was.."what happened if you don't mind me asking"

Palla~
I follow quickly, close to Midnight Shadow. My eyes widening in horror at the look of Brassa's wound. "what should we do?" I ask Midnight Shadow

"umm can i have alook at it?" i asked

I looked at him and moved away from Brassa.i stoped beside Palla and licked her ear.

Palla~
I wag my tail and smile weakly. The thought of our hurt friend still burning bright in my mind.

i went over to Brassa and looked at the wound.. i spotted something "was she shot by something?" i asked adn began pulling out whatever it was and then licked the wound to disinfect it

Palla~
I whimper and cringe at the sight. "Possibly" I say questioningly to Midnight Shadow

"well it just needs to heal up, i've taken out the bullet so she should be fine"

Midnight Shadow
i stood there and watched,i walked off er too Brassa,"We have too get to the cave"i said and picked Brassa up by the scruf.
Brassa~
I stayed still while Midnight Shadow carried me.

Palla~
I trot behind Midnight Shadow as she carried the young female wolf. Whimpering softly I prick my ears and keep an intense watch on the young one
