Our foal.....

I sat Jasabelle down. Waiting on my new foal.

~Jasabelle~
I screached and pushed hard, the pain taking an effect on all my body. I snorted and sighed, taking a slight break from all the energy taken out of me. I pushed again, seeing small hooves appear. Now, I was even more determined to push the foal out.

"Come on, hun. Just a little more." I saw her pain, hating it. Everytime I tried to comfort her it didn't work. I was hoping this would be over soon.

~Jasabelle~
I sighed and pushed, a loud whinny escaping from my mouth. My head rested on the ground as I made one last push, seeing the foal/colt appear.
(Girl or boy?)

(Um, it doesn't matter. But, I would like a foal. )

~Jasabelle~
I smiled and licked OUR new baby girl clean. She was a real beauty, and to my amazement, she stood up faster than any foal I had ever seen. "Hello, beautiful..." I whispered in the baby's ear with a smile and nuzzled Demon's cheeck.

"She's amazing" I looked at Jasabelle. "She looks just like her mama." I nuzzled our baby girl. "Hey sweetheart." I was so happy. "What should we name her?"

~Jasabelle~
I smiled and looked at the foal. "Athena." I said, referring to a greek goddess. (UGH! Sorry so short!!! My annoying, hyper squirrel won't stop stealing my pickles!!! CURSE YOU BOB!!)

"It's perfect." I smiled. I never thought my life would be so perfect. I loved my new family. "I licked my mare's cheek. You're perfect." My life was finally perfect.

~Jasabelle~
I smiled and lightly blushed as I licked his muzzle. "You're more than perfect...." I whispered in his ear and smiled at Athena.
~Athena~
I pranced around with a small whinny, but quickly went back to my mother's side, suckling swiftly. I licked my lips and continued to drink with my fluffy tail swishing.

I laughed and followed our little girl. "Where you going?"I nudged her rump to go to her mother. I walked over to Jasabelle. "I love you..." Then trotted of to get some water.

~Jasabelle~
I smiled and nuzzled Athena to sleep. I loped after Demon with a bright face. "I love you too..." I spoke softly as my muzzle lowered towards the water and I took a sip.
~Athena~
(S L E E P I N G... Z z Z z Z z....)

I nipped playfully at her sides while walking back."She's precious." I stood there staring at her. Perfect...

~Jasabelle~
I smiled and looked at Athena. "It's geting late..." I said with a short yawn, curling up by Athena to keep her warm during the night. Winter was just around the corner, and the last thing we needed was a frozen foal.

I laid down next to my mare. "Good night" I fell asleep almost instantly.

~Athena~
She yawned as she woke up, her small mouth opening as big as it could go. She was still teethless, so this made her gums feel weird. She playfully nipped at her mother's ear and galloped over to her father, tugging on his mane with a petite, high whinny as she reared playfully, darting off. She skid to a stop to the sight of the water before her. She dipped her muzzle to the water and screeched, whirling around friskily and bucked around the meadow.

"Well, good mourning to you, too." I laughed, getting up to follow her so her mother could rest. "I whisper to Jasabelle. "You can sleep, I'll take care of Athena." I nuzzled her. I went to stand by Athena. "What are we going to do today?" I smiled at our foal. I waited for her to go off, only to follow her.

~Jasabelle~
I smiled and licked his cheeck. "Thanks..." I whispered back softly, going back to sleep.
~Athena~
She smiled and laughed, bouncing up and down towards her dad. "Can we go into the trees?" she asked in an innocent tone as she backed up a bit, then charged playfully at her father.

"You're not old enough for that yet. There are wolves back there." I nuzzled her. "When you're older." I trotted after her. "What else?"
