The usually clean husky picked her way through the brush, shuddering when snow fell on her or mud stuck to her paws. "Ew, ew ew...." Why did her owner run off like that? Didn't he know her paws were sore and her ears were cold? "Ugh..." Rio moaned and she tripped and landed muzzle first in the mud.

The husky was a priss. A pampered, over sized lap dog. Her breath clouded infront of her black nose as she panted. "Why me?" or "Couldn't of been someone else?" were her comment severy now and then. She started a slow ascend up a rocky hill and soon came upon den. Rio ignored all markings and bounded in. "Much better." She sighed as a heavy snowstorm beat down.

The husky jumped up in surprise and backed up until her rump hit the back of the cave. "W-who are you?" She tried to sound brave, but it wasn't working. "I-i didn't know any one lived in this den." she gulped. Being a pet, she had ignored the strong scent markings insdie and outside of the cave.

She snorted at his words and backed up until she was sitting. "I'm Rio, now move so I can leave." She tried to growl, but it came out choked. Her hard eye glared into his. "Move!"

She whined as he clamped onto her neck. "Let go! Why can't I leave?" Rio struggled, but found it hurt more that way. "I'm not a DoggiePet! I'm a family member! David told me so!" Once more, she let out the poor attempt to growl.

"Rawr...." She snarled and stood at the entrance, seeing nothing but the blinding snow. "See ya...." Rio sighed as she stepped into the freezing tempatures.

She traveled slowly, her head forced to submitt to the driving winds.

She was soon to tired to continue, so she just lay in the snow. One other thing she didn't know was that she was in the middle of the wolf's hunting grounds. Rio curled up and whined, never had the dog been so cold.

The husky had to get up several times to make sure the snow didn't bury her. She was shivering like crazy and had never felt so alone.

[Sure.]

She yelped as he pounced on her and kicked him off. "Stop! Its horrible I have to sleep in the cold but now I get bullied by a wolf too?" Rio whined like a pup and put her head back on her paws. "If you don't mind, I need more beauty sleep."

"I don't like hurting other animals." She said and closed her eyes again. "My companion wil lfind me and I will go home where my Kibbles and Chunks wil lbe wating."

She snarled at him when he rolled her over and hid her face in her paws when he bit the elk. "Stop! You're hurting it!" She cried as he ripped at the throat. Rio leapt to her feet and knocked Dusk off the animal. "You're horrible!"

"Stop!" She cried again and ripped him away from the mammal. She pinned him and snarled. She got off of him and turned to the elk. "Don't you thank the animal before you tear it's loving heart out?" Rio lowered her head in thanks for the elk's life and gave the non-bloody parts a loving lick. "Go catch another, thank it before you do. I wanna see if a brute like you can handle it."

Tears welled in her eyes, "Why shouldn't you?" She cried and easily ripped into his shoulder with white fangs. "there are other things you can eat! Like those furry pancake things!" She pinned him and started with the biting, snarling kicking, this dog was a noisy ball of fury.

She ripped away from him, leaving skin, fur and blood in his mouth. "You monster! It is low to attack one who is inexpirenced!" Rio snarled and pinned him, keeping a hard grip on his neck. "How about I take yours instead?"
