Happy halloween.....

Travling far from their home land, Pain stoped his pack of halloween wolves "My wolves, tommorow night is halloween. Prepare yourself for scaring children. For now, under this tree we should rest as tommorow is a special night..." he said, the ghostly green stripes standing out on his white coat. he jumped up onto the highest branch on the tree, watching his pack.

the wolf growled, the spikes on her back urging to grow out. "Pain, why does hallooween only come once a year?" The she wolf demanded. "Why can't we scare them helpess every night?" Red paws let her jump easily into the tree, growling a thte leader. The tan and red wolf was always challenging the leaders rules.

"I wish we could scare them every night, but its not every day you see children walking on the streets at night, and that makes our survival rates low." he said, briefly looking at her, he resumed his duties as usual. not once had he ever smiled.

"But the small ones have the tall ones with them during that time, and not just shorter tall ones." Nela growled, rolling her eyes. "Jasper will probably scare little, if I were a kid, I would want to hug her."

"I suppose, and hopefully with a little more experience, Jasper should become a little better at scaring." he said to Nela, he gave a quick glance at Jasper

"She is to.... cute. I'm not a very good scarer, but at least I can go under the label 'things that go bump in the night.'" Nela sighed. "nothig personal Jasper, still love ya like a sister.'"

"Im sure evryone here is a good scarer, you just have to watch out for cars though." he said, shaking his head.

"Please, trucks?" She laughed, leaping higher in the tree. A crack echoed in her ears, and the next thing she knew, she lay on the ground with her leg bent painfully under her.

Pain rolled his eyes and laughed, he hopped down and moved her leg back to its normal position.

Nela grinned sheepishly, "NOt such a light pup any more, am I?" The young she wolf flinched as the red horns on her head slowly disappeared.

Pain chuckled and rubbed himself against the tree.

Golden ears flicked, and the halloween wolf lay down. "What are we going to do now? I hate waiting."

"Well, if all the pack feels like it, we could go into the forest and do some hunting to keep us from going hungry and it could give us something to do?" he said, looking deep into the green dimly lit forest.

(quick question, who is golden?)

Astro obeyed the leader's orders and sneacked into the forest unseen by the leader.

Apate~

I remained on my boulder not even caring nough to go huniting. He hadn't ordered us to so I would just stay here..

(oh.... and astro is a boy)
Astro pranced up to a rock and clambered onto it, he ran up to the edge which stuck up out the trees of the forest. he sat down and gave a little excited yip/howl.

Apate~

With a grumbled I leaped down from the boulder.. landing nearly ten feet away. I shook the dust from my coat to regain the sleek, smooth look. In seconds I was off.. following the trail of the male that I hadn't exactly met in the pack yet. Everything was an orange/yellow blur as I passed the colorful scenery of the forest. Suddenly I paused seeing the large frame of the rather handsom male that I had somehow missed meeting. I jogged up to him. "Hello."

Astro flung his head round, his fur slowly blowing "Hello, I haven't seen you before... are you in Pain's pack? Halloween woves?" he said, looking at the rather beautiful she-wolf stood before him.

Apate~

"Yes.. I am. Call me a Apate." I said softly. My beautiful green eyes glowed since darkness was nearing.. the perfect time for the hunt. "So shall we go hunting?"I asked.

"I think its a great idea, I'm Astro..." he said frankly, exchanging scents with her.

Apate~

A small smile crossed my lips.. it was very rare for me to smile you know. "Well we'll probably want to take down something big.. a buck or a moose; but a moose would take the whole pack.."I said. I raised my maw into the air and scented the faint scent of a moose nearby. "Mine as well go check it out." I mumbled discouraged.

Astro gave a breif smile and walked into the forest, his paw stepped into something that closed around his paw with had sharp teeth he let out a yowl and shook the fox trap off, he licked his paw and carried on walking, ignoring any pain.

Apate~

I jumped, taken aback by the his cry."What happened?"I asked concerned. But just at that moment I noticed the trap. "Damn humans."I muttered under my breath. But then I suddenly got a brillant idea. "Ya know the moose I scented? Since there are a few dozen traps in this area maybe if we guide it towards the traps it might get stuck.."I suggested.
