Lost and Confused... (SilverShadows)

I was awake the moment i heard thunder...or wait, it wasnt thunder... it was horses! I got up and looked out of my teepee onto the horizon. I squinted my eyes, it was early in the morning, still a little dark. Soldiers. "Soldiers!" i screamed, warning my people. The chief got up and ordered an attack. But our weapons were not as strong as theirs, and we knew that..but we had to try. I stayed back in the trees, occasionally taking out a soldier with my bow and arrow. Then I turned around and an american soldier was standing in front of me. I drew back, but it was too late. He hit me with something, something sharp. I looked down to my thigh where it hit. It was like a dart, I had never seen anything like it before. The last thing i saw was an arrow go through my chief's chest, i tried to call out, but everything went black...
