The Fight for Freedom

He held his head high
His fight not yet done.
He reared wildly
For he was number one.

But yet he couldn't beat
The coat that men bear.
The savageness the was him
was no longer there.

It was torn from his soul
In a slow, painful way.
He knew that he might not make it
Just another day.

A man called vet
brought the pink shot.
He put it in him
in the right spot.

The stallion rest his head
on a bed of hay.
The fight was done.
He would not live another day.
