Story: Escaped from a bronco rodeo and ran all the way from Texas, US to Horse Island where he thinks he can be safe. He traveled with his mate but she died from starvation along the way. He thinks he can never love again.

Story:She was used as a circus horse at the same place Indigo was. She was doing an act when Indigo, Crotell, and Narie (Indio's deceased mate) came galloping in and knocked her down. With her chance of freedom, she took off with them to their annoyance.
