her last words

they tied her to a stake and started the fire, they called her evil, they shunned her, they beat her, and now they were going to get rid of her for good. or so they thought. as the fire started to climb up the stake she smiled, a glint in her eyes. she laughed and laughed, everyone was positive she was crazy. then as the fire was up to her shoulders she yelled to the people who had gathered around her burning body, she yelled to them "break me, beat me, rip me apart piece by piece. but no matter what u do i will always be who i am and nothing else. so try burning me and u will see, im never going to change" the woman started to laugh again, she kept laughing until the flames engulfed her and sent up a cloud of ashes. even after the woman was gone, the sky was filled with her maniacal laughter. and the people still had her last words ringing in their ears.
