Kasumi is a usually pleasant girl to be around with, though she only acts like that when she doesn't have business to do. She has always been good at mostly everything, excelling at academics, sports, and housework. The only problem she had is with the people. She didn't learn how to ask nicely for things and watch them decide. To her, you either had all the power, or it was up to their hands. She may seem nice, but acting nice is just one way she can get information. She can seem almost desperate to get anything on you, even if it's just something subtle. From there she builds on about what she knows, and she can use it to help you, but usually hurt you. If she doesn't have anything dirty on you, she knows what you want. Money, power, girls, and anything else, she usually knows. She can use these things to get what she wants, but she can disguise it as just messing around. Most people say she's dangerous, and even though she is, she is still nice. She doesn't deny it though, since she can be your worst nightmare then to your lifeline. With her sucking up and manipulative powers, she usually has most of the boys at her service. If word manages to slip out about what she did or how she really is, she keeps the person's lip sealed. Whether it's by blackmail, threats, or even slander, she can keep them in line. She is the person you ask for the passwords to the rumors about the staff. She herself spreads the rumors, liking the effect it has on less then a day.

Kasumi had an moderate life, though she was constantly moving with her parents. By the time she was 8, they had a permanent house. It seemed like the hardships were over, so she began to take roots in the house and at her school. She had friends, she had everything she wanted, and she had a happy family. This changed when her parents started to take in a lot of money with a new company they founded. She had found out that her parents were addicted to drugs by the time she was 11. Prescription bottles and needles were usually on the ground when she came home, but she cleaned them up. She was sweet when she was a kid, but she turned the way she was today because of those moments. Her parents almost stabbed her with a bloody syringe after they had torn the house apart, searching for more drugs. Another time they trashed her room, thinking that she was hiding drugs. She stopped trying to hide them then. Instead, she learned that blackmailing her parents kept her safe. If they thought she was doing something behind their back, she would threaten to simply throw the drugs away, especially when they tried to quit. Later her dad died of overdose one night, while they were both swallowing pills. Her mom was killed in a gruesome murder, but that wasn't the case. She had tried to kill her in her sleep that night.
A few weeks after her dad's death, her mom was back on drugs again. She pledged to quit and join rehab, but never did. She had crept into her room one night and put a pillow on her head. She was barely asleep when it happened, and she reacted as soon as she realized something was pressing down on her face. She struggled, but she almost suffocated. Instead, she found that her hands had turned to paws, her claws gripping flesh. Her clothes felt loose under her, and easily swiped at her mom's throat. That had done the job, but instead, she had thrown her body across the room, making dents into walls. After what seemed like minutes of just throwing her mom's dead body around the room, they came. The staff at the academy had shot her with a dart, making her shift back. She had blacked out then, covered in blood.
