~*~ Jinx foals...~*~

~*~ JINX ~*~
I walk slowly into the meadow, My mate will come soon. I wince as a contraction grips at my body. My contractions signal that my foals, for I’m certain I am carrying twins, are nearly ready to be born into this wonderful world. My skin twitches and the voices in my tiara scream out in pain a murmur escapes my lips. The pain intensifies and my pillars threaten to give way….I finally collapse my pain dragging me to the sandy turf beneath me. I lay there stretched out on my side, my breathing labored, my pelt darkening with sweat. Pain grips me again and I cry out louder, the pain has worsened.

~*~ JINX ~*~
I lift my dial and gaze at my hind end the foals beginning to emerge small fore hooves exit my body, the contraction stops and I rest knowing full well this could take awhile. The convulsions begin again and mount as time passes. I strain harder and rest then strain again and a foal slides from my body I rest as it struggles about. Contractions grip me again, I was right twins. The pain much less then before and soon another foal lies on the sandy ground behind me.

i come crashing into the grounds with the rest of my small herd i see jinx and notice we are too late for the birth, two foals lay with her

as me,anakin,ryder and nala arrive we saw that she had already given birth

I galloped up to jinx with nala i lay beside jinx and pray she will be alright

im sorry i wasnt here,Jinx are you alright?

i ran up to her as fast as i could and noticed that she had twins i kneel down beside for she was still in pain "Are you alrihgt" said heavenly gates

I lay down with her and soppurt her head i ask heavenly if shes alright

i dont know the foals are to early thats all i know

i open my eyes and see my whole herd surrounding me and smile softly
"Ryder you have a son and another daughter. "
the foals both had been cleaned and i struggled to my feet again and they too rise and i allow them to feed.

i nuzzle Jinx and retrieve nala and tell her the news

"The bad news is that there premature but there is a good side they both are alvie" i said to jinx to reinsure her that they are ok

i hope the foals survive i say secretly to heavenly

i nuzzle him back and look around Nala is watching with sadness in her eyes
"what is it Nala?" i ask

I look at the foals and then to mom
"Now you have your own real foals you wont want me" a tear slid down her cheek

"thats nonsense nala now i need you even more these two need you to keep them safe and play with them and help me looking after them"

~*~Nala~*~
"Are you sure?"

~*~ Anakin ~*~
"even if she didnt need you Nala you more apart of her then ever even if she isnt your real mom she is the closest thing and she loves you very dearly"
i watch as Nala nuzzled the filly and the colt before smiling

"They will" "I promise" i said

~*~ Jinx ~*~
I ignore the hurtfull comment that one of my babies may die but both are healthy and strong a little small but thats common a slient tear runs down my cheek i quickly rub my face on my fore leg to rid it

I watch Jinxs face fall when the comment about one foal may die and see the hurt expression and the tear i walk to her and nuzzle her cheek reassuringly

i nuzzle nala and say we both will love her forever

~*~ JINX ~*~
I watch as the foals test their long legs and smile as they wobble, i couldnt imagin how devistated id be to lose one of them and now nalas reasurred that she is still needed and loved she trots lightly around the foals dancing happily

i push anakin aside and tell Jinx they will be fine

I snort and snake my head at the stallion
"how can you reasure her one minute after talking about the possibility of one of them dying?"

i snort at the stallions and step a few paces forward sliding from between them i tell nala to watch my foals and i trot to the cool stream and walk a little down stream and step into the cool and clean the blood off my body then i climb out and walk up stream to drink lightly then i roll and walk back to the shade to watch the foals and nala playing

i am offended of anakins coment and nip him on the back then gallop off to lay beside jinx
