Kaya gives birth

Kaya breathes heavily. Sweat poors over her chest and stomach. her legs lock, as she feels a contraction. she lays down, already winded from running from the herd. her breathing becomes difficult and strained. Her body automatically pushes. and again. She is in agony, but she pushes again. Her foals legs and head are out, up to the babies shoulders. She pushes again, and the newborn drops to the ground. Kaya lays only for a moment, and sits up, licking her foal clean. She then stands. Kaya watches her offspring, as the colt tries to get up. He lunges foward, catching himself before he falls. He has strong legs, and soon he is walking after his mother. Kaya leads him out of the clearing.
