Fighting for the sake... {Daydreamer}

Aaron hopped out of his truck and closed it, locking the door. He sighed and walked forward quickly, chatty students talking to one another as he passed bye. "Hi Aaron," one said. "Hi Aaron." said another but Aaron was in no mood really. Thursday was the day his brother was murdered and it didn't matter any Thursday, it was just the day of the week his brother died and it hurt him. It also was when he tracked down the person who did it. He was very heart-broken having to see his brother go; and now he could never talk to his mother because she was a nurse at a Local Hospital. She worked from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. When she got home, she just went to sleep. Aaron loved his brother a lot, their relationship was good not like any normal brother-to-brother. He protected his brother.
Aaron walked into the school just a swimming pool of teens walking around and talking to one another. He stopped at his locker and got things for his period then stopped quickly looking at his gun. "I will find the person who did this," he whispered and slowly put it away closing the locker door, he turned and walked into the classroom right beside it sitting down and chilling while the teacher searched the papers. Aaron sighed it was gonna be a long day

"You will be going to a new school now Arianna, you'll like it" Arianna looked up at her foster mother, the blonde women looked like a desperate housewife out of a magazine. Arianna just sighed, "All right, well i've already made friends so im sleeping at her house. Luisa just looked at her with a shrug. "yea, just don't be out late" Arianna just turned around knowing that she really didn't care, just as long as she didn't get in the way of her perfect country club life. Adopting her as a foster parent was just to impress. She sighed, but she thought it was lucky that the women didn't care much and that she could go about her normal activities and she wouldn't be bothered. Tonight was the night, she shook her head. That same pain would come again, and the knowing that she would be running out there in the woods with no feel for what she was doing, terrorized her. She looked at the clock, it was time to go.

The moon was rising over the horizon, Arianna stepped over the the branches in the forest, a little clusmy. She looked up, once the moon had fully risen she would be overcome to the change and loose herself to the demon wolf inside her. She held back the tears that threatned to spill over, and she just prayed that she wouldn't hurt anyone, not tonight.

Aaron looked up at the full yellow moon that looked like cheese in the sky. He sighed quietly and walked on. He'd imagine what his mom say when he got home late: later than she got home. 'Oh Aaron this, Aaron that.' She'd put up a speech if she'd have to. And he'd have to hear her. It jusrt annoyed him that much. But he didn't care, taking these alone walks were just as important to him. Walking on, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and took out a flashlight as he appeared in the woods. He waved the flashlight around roughly... waiting. He then saw something in a flash of lightning; it was big and brown. His heart started to race as he quickened his speed. He heard a rustle and turned. A roaring sound vibrated him and raced his heart speed. He gaped and looked up to see an enoumus bear on its hind legs. It raced after him to attack him. He didn't run: he couldn't outrun a bear.

Arianna looked up at the moon, it finally reached over the horizon. She started to feel the change coming on, the form ripping through her body. She dropped through the ground and let out a muffled scream as the pain overtook her. Then her eyes opened, wolf eyes looked through and the wolf instincts took over, loosing herself to the animal. She stood up, shaking her pelt from leaves. She growled at the forest in front of her, she shook her head bounding into the forest. In a couple of bounds she met herself face to face with a human boy, she snarled at it loudly before seeing the bear behind him. She stopped, and something went through her, confusing her for a second. She raced past the guy and stood in front of him, blocking the bears path.

Aaron gasped as it got closer... closer, eyes much more wide until suddenly, a wolf was in front of him growling at the bear. He gasped even more loudly and stepped back until he bumped into a tree trunk. Was this wolf... protecting him rather then trying to rip his brains out too? She watched the wolf snarl, and the bear growl loudly trying to scare of the wolf. The bear started to bring down big over-sized paws on the wolf. He closed his eyes and looked for the backpack for the gun. He couldn't find it so he looked around.

The wolf in front of Aaron kept snarling at the bear, hoping to just scare it off, and she wouldn't have to fight it. Then the bear brought down its paws and charged. The wolf snarled loudly and dodged the attack jumping onto its haunches and sinking her teeth into its shoulder. The bear let out a thunderous roar as her teeth met its tough muscle. The wolf half slid, half fell off its shoulder as it reared up throwing her to the ground. Her hazel eyes met the eyes of Aaron for a split second before she turned around again, slightly limping ready to lunge again.

Aaron looked around and watched the fight as he did. When the wolf met his eye before attacking again, there was a weird spark. Sighing, he toyed with the ground to he felt something hard and metal. He lifted it up and aimed at the bear. He shot it and the bullet went straight onto the nose. Roaring, it turned and scrammed. Aaron slowly got up and looked at the wolf. He said nothing just stood there, wondering why it helped.

Before Arianna had the chance to jump at the bear again, she heard a loud shot rumble through the forest, like a crack of lightning. She pressed herself to the forest floor, the snarl gone from from her countenance. She watched as the bear roared one last time, before trampling through the woods. She slowly rose from the ground, and turned to the boy holding the gun. She pressed her ears against her head, as she limped slightly from the fall. She turned to him before growling slightly, her human self, fighting to get through to the wolf self of her.

Aaron watched her growl. He was dead for sure. Covering his eyes, he opened them to see the wolf still there. He got up. "Erm... I'm sorry. I'll leave. Thank you." He ended then turned to leave quickly, scared that even though the wolf didn't attack him yet, it was planning to now and just fighting the bear so he could eat him for meat. He headed towards his vechiel, breath able to hear.

Arianna flinched away when he spoke. She growled one more time louldy, before retreating into the bushes. She ran over the ground, her foot throbbing as it hit the ground with a slightly limp. She reached the outskirts of the forest where she lied down, and gave her paw a couple of licks before waiting for the sun to rise, so she could turn back into her human self.

Aaron went into his car and started to walk in. He started the enginnee and drove off and out in the car and home. When he returned he got his keys and put one of them in the door. Then, he went home seeing his mom sleep. He sighed and walked inside and shut the door and ran upstairs and fell asleep.

Arianna awoke moment later, surrounded by leaves and dirt. She groaned as she started to sit up, and pain shot through her leg. She pressed a hand to her forhead, what had happened during tonight? Maybe it was better not to remember. She stood up, her body shaking from the cold and still from shock. Her brown hair tangled and damp. She started to make her way to her car, that was parked on the outskirts' of the forest, near a campsite, and started her drive home. She' still had an hour before school started, and even though she was completly fatigued, she'd have to go she couldnt' miss any more classes.

Aaron arrived at school the next day starting to eat his food that they offered him. He sighed and thought about last night putting one hand on his head as he did. When he got done, he headed towards the first period class and waited for the whole class to arrive.

Arianna woke up in her bed, an hour later. She sat up feeling incredibly tired. She yawned, and got out of bed. She looked at herself in the mirror and grimaced. She looked like she hadn't gotten months of any sleep. She started to brush out her long brown hair, and tried to put on some make-up to hide the large bags, and the tired look. It wasn't easy. After putting on a light amount of eye-liner and mascara, she grabbed the books that she had gotten a couple of weeks ago and made her way to the car, without eating, or saying goodbye to her foster mother. She got in, started the car and made her way to the large High School.

She pulled her car into a parking space, and got out with her bag. She earned a few curious looks from some of the student's and she wasn't surprised. They wouldn't get very many in a small town school like this. She stifled a yawn, and made her way to the small building. Inside she got her schedule from the Main office, and made her way to the first period class. Even though the school was small, she still got lost a couple of times, and the limp in her step didn't make it easier to hurry up her pace. She finally reached her first period and opened the door, dismayed to have the class silent and teacher stare at her as she walked in.

Aaron watched as most of the class started to arrive. He started to get the homework they had out and put his name because when he rushed, he forgot to put his name. He was still tired and shocked from last night's commotion and still wanted to go to the forest; to see that beast once more. He noticed that before his brother died, he was studying something and he'd check it after school. Footsteps before the tardy bell rang brought him out of his thoughts. A long brown haired girl walked in, no one he saw before. He stared at her as the teacher pointed out a seat and when he started paying attention more, he could make out the teacher's finger pointing towards him. "That's Aaron. You will be seated next to him."

Arianna nodded her head, as the teacher read over everything on the note that she gave him. "Alright Arianna, for now you'll just have to share a textbook with Aaron, You'll get your own this week" Arianna just nodded, again without saying much. She turned her head towards the boy, her brown eyes met his, and she stood confused for a second. It seemed like she knew him, like she had seen his face before but she couldn't quite put her finger on it, she shook her head quickly and walked over and sat next to him. Most of the class still silent and watching her. She was already use to the stare's and every new school. She was beautiful, and had a very exotic look to her with her long brown hair, Cherokee skin, and big brown eyes. She looked at Aaron, "hello" she said quietly.

Aaron heard that she would be seated next to him, to share a textbook with her. He didn't care, as long as she shared and didn't take it away like some child would. He opened the textbook to page, 164 and slid it to the middle, taking out a notebook paper. When she sat down, he gave a small smile and nodded. "Hello." he replied. "I'm Aaron. You are?"

Arianna crained her neck slightly, Reading along with the textbook As the teacher continued with the lesson. She Tool out a Notebook and Started to jot Things down. She Looked at him and Nodded her Head "I am Arianna" she Responded. Somewhere from behind her, someone Three a Note at her, hitting her Head, She heard a Guy snicker behind her and rolled her Eyes already knowing what it would contain. She ignored the Guy and Looked at Aaron As She couldn't Shake off the Feeling that She knew him from somewhere.

Aaron looked back to see the guys snickering when they threw the notebook. She ignored it, but he was curious so he picked it up to see what it read. He lifted his lip up with a digusted look and sighed shaking his head and threw it back on the ground and went back to working, concentrating hard. "Nice name." he mumbled to her. He didn't know what else to say.

Arianna watched him out of the corner of her eye and she couldn't help but smile when she saw him reaction. She narrowed her gaze as she watched him work, "Have I seen you before?" she asked him, her voice barely above a whisper. Where did she know him from? She was positive she had seen, or met him somewhere and it was now bothering her that she couldn't put her finger on it.

Aaron was surprised at her question. Had she seen him before? What did she mean? He turned towards her, and studied her features. Brunette hair. Perfect face features... something a little like this girl Sammi he saw sometimes at school... a cheerleader, but not no model features or perfect, perfect looks. He put his hands through his hair and looked at her awkardly. "I'm sorry, I don't recall seeing or ever meeting a brunette Arainna." he replied and turned back towards his textbook, studying pages again and scribbling quick notes, trying not to look at the girl beside her. She was pretty, and he wished that he had met a girl like her to be honest but never did. Though he tried to press his finger on it, it stressed him out that he couldn't because he'd snatch a quick sideglance at her, and saw that she was really trying to figure out where he'd seen her.

Arianna sighed, he didn't seem like he would want have small talk. That was fine with her, she had an unsettling feeling in her stomach whenever she looked at him. She sighed and turned her back to her books, scribbling down as the teacher talked. Finally the bell rang and she honestly couldn't wait to get out of the classroom. Then a big burly blonde guy came over to her a cocky smile on his face. "Oh no.." Arianna mumbled under her breath. She had to deal with these guys in ever school she came too. She honestly thought her good looks were a curse, she got stereotyped so fast once people saw her. "Hey babe, I'm having a party this weekend, and a hot girl like you is always invited" he said with what he thought was a handsome smile. Most of the class was gathering their things, but some looked over to her. Arianna scowled, "First off, I have a name, secondly I don't do parties, and If I were you I wouldn't call me hot again" she said at him, glaring at him. Before gathering the last of her books. The guy just had a stupid expression on his face.

When the school bell finally rang, he got up with all the others and gathered his books but stopped mid when the dude- the jock came up and told her she was invited to a party. With her snappy reply, he drew in a sharp breath trying not to reply with a laugh. When he followed Arianna he looked at her... heading towards his locker then lunch. "Wow why turn one of those parties down?" he asked. "Your lucky even almost the most pretty girls don't get into that but your hot." he joked.

Arianna grumbled under her breath. The dude looked like he was going to say something, "Look here..." he started but Arianna didn't care she just picked up her backpack and started to walk out of the class-room. That whole situation put her in a snappy mood. She looked up with a glare and saw that it was Aaron, her face relaxed slightly. She narrowed her eyes at him, "Really? Is that the only adjective guy's know!" she said as she walked over to her locker which was near his. " I'm not a party girl, I don't like parties, I don't like alcohol and I don't like jerks" she said quickly, and she looked at Aaron with a smile, "Plus his reaction was priceless" she couldn't help but say.
