The Wolf (Silver Shadows)

``Urjurak``


Urjurak stalked through the tall, growing grass, gazing
at the elk herd. He took 2 small steps, and then launched
himself outward and jumped up onto the female elk. He
felt pretty stupid fighting a elk that was not injured... But
the injured ones always had these black spots that tasted
terrible! He bit into its neck, hard, feeling himself
crush a bone. He smirked then twisted himself off, with the
neck almost! He let go and came to the ground, the elk still
running. He chased after it but this time went to the feet.
He got kicked several times, but luckily in his broad shoulders.
He latched onto one of the legs and twisted with all of his
might, making the elk fall down to its side breathing heavily
letting out large shreeks. Urjurak stood up with a smirk
surprised that he did it on his own, then, bit into its neck
again, ending its life.

He licked his muzzle and looked up seeing
ravens caw loudly and fly in the air. He stood
up, ears perked and alert. He took a step away
from his kill, and sniffed the air, another wolf,
female that is. He looked around, trying to see
if he could spot her.

Ignored the birds and the scent
and sat back down, chewing his
way through the meat hungrily,
his chest fur getting a bit bloody.
He sighed as the females scent
got a bit heavier, almost nervous.
He sat up straight and tried to spot
out the female again, feeling a bit
stupid. He squented his eyes slightly,
suddenly spotting the female, her
beautiful silver like coat and beautiful eyes.
He felt warmth cover his body for a second,
but shook it away looking down at his
paws. 'What are you doing!?' he asked
himself quietly. He looked back up at the
female hoping she had caught his eyes too.

Their eyes met for several seconds, and he watched the female stand up and trot
up to him. He smiled warmly, thinking he probably looks weird, smiling with blood
all over him. He licked the fur upon his chest gently, then , the female sat in front
of him. He heard her greeting and looked at her, a brow raised, yet still trying to look
a bit friendly. "Hello.." He greeted and sat up straighter, wrapping his tail neatly
around his paws. "What are you doing out here? I havent seen anyone here for days..."
he spoke flicking his ears slightly.

He glanced up at the fae several times while grooming
his paws for several seconds listening to her soft soothing
voice. His ears twitched slightly as she asked what his
name was. He raised his head looking at her politely,
seeing that she had turned herself around. "Urjurak."
he spoke. "Pleased to meet you Nova" He smiled kindly.
His ears perked up slightly "Where are you traveling to?
Id be more than welcome to show you several spots
for shelter for the few days your here, or anything else thats really
needed. I know this place pretty well." he spoke, sitting
up much straighter now, his muscular outline unbilievable.

He smiled warmly, nudging some of the elk towards her
in case she was hungry. "It could last us a couple days."
he spoke looking at the elk and Nova, then glancing
up at the sky, seeing large grey clouds in the distance,
and some fog up near the tallest of the mountains
nearby. He blinked slowly, then glancing back at the fae.
