Are you Laughing or Are you Proud?!?

Look at their faces
Look at their boots
are you scared of
our proud Marine troops?

They march in to battle
which you'll never understand
How scared they are
but an amazing few can

Are you ready
to say goodbye?
to watch your saviors
and freedom keepers march by?

They salute the leader
The leader salutes back
They have hard faces
because they are cut no slack

They stand in line
and carry a gun
are you laughing?
you think this is fun?

Its not at all
it chills their bones
in fact most of them
would like to be home

But they have a duty
to fight and be loud
but say "thanks"
and be Proud!!!
