Who's All Alone Now? (Pick'N'Play People Only)

Once Johanna realized who it was, she smiled daintily. "Oh, hey Leena," she said and grinned before looking at her parrot. "Hey, Drum Beat," she said with a wave of the hand and a quiet laugh. "I heard you sing earlier," she said shyly and tucked her hair behind her ear. "You're really good. Are you ever going to play your songs publically?" She was quite curious to have an answer since she adored her music oh so much.

Johanna nibbled on her bit for a moment as she thought. She loved the idea, but she was a bit camera shy. Finally, she came to a decision. "Alright," she answered quietly with a wide grin spread across her face. She glanced down at the ground, and while doing so, she saw a sheet of paper on the ground. Johanna picked it up, then remembering she had stuffed it in her pocket and it must've fell out when she bumped into Leena.

Johanna laughed as Drum Beat nipped at her ear. She grabbed him carefully and gave him back to Leena. "Um... Leena," Johanna said while pulling out her sheet of music. "Would you... Would you be willing to look at this?" She blushed lightly and tried to occupy her mind of other thoughts by taking a gander of all her surroundings. It was so gloomy in this part of town half the time; perhaps the lack of nature?

Johann's eyes fell on the paper Leena was holding as she scratched the back of her head. "Oh," she said softly before sighing and lowering her head. "I... I gotta go, see ya," she spoke quickly and meandered swiftly down the streets where she could get to a small woods-like area about 1/2 mile out of the city. Once she got there, she inhaled deeply and climbed up her favorite tree. She perched herself on a somewhat high branch where she had a good view of New York City and the 'woods'.

Johanna got an idea for a new song; actually, a few songs. She hurried and rushed to the store to buy a pencil and notebook. Yeah, I know it seems ridiculous, but when Johanna's got an idea, she's got an idea. She then rushed back to her tree and started to jot down some lyrics.

she started to write with a small smile on her face as she continued to write.

ba da la da da She could hardly obtain her happiness at the moment she was so excited to finally get a song done. She ran back to her house, but on the way there, she saw Leena. "Leena! I have a new song!" Johanna smiled and handed her the notebook with the lyrics on it.

Johanna gave Leena a confused look as she said that she should stick to art. She sighed and toyed with her feet while she tried to figure out a tune to the lyrics. She started to think about her father, freezing completely. She's had very mixed feeling about him because of the past. She cleared her throat out and rubbed her eye, trying to distract herself so her mind can drift off her dad and to another subject.

Johanna sighed and glanced up at Leena. "Um, I think I better go.. It's getting late," she said quietly and with that, she started to walk back to her house to try and ease her mind. She shut the door slowly behind her as she finally made it home. She stared at her black piano she had for numerous years and then glanced back at an eisel (sp?) she had left nude. She searched for her paint and brushes, quickly finding them under her bed. She rushed back to the eisel (sp?) and started to design an elaborate painting with much detail and unique-ness. She wasn't sure of what she was painting, but it gave her release to finally let out some of her emotions in a painting. Although she had emptied out some of her pain in the painting, the emotions were still unbearable. She reached for her phone and dialed Matthew's number, hoping he could make her feel better.

Johanna exhaled heavily and rubbed her forehead as she started to say something, but then hesitated. "I need someone to talk to... In person," she said and continued to speak. "Can you come over? Just for a little while?" She really hoped he could come over, and oh how that would make her day!

"Thanks," Johanna said with a smile and hung up, stuffing her phone back in her pocket. She hid her painting in her closet after she pushed her painting supplies back under her bed. She rushed over to her piano, glancing at the clock. She wanted to make sure she had some time to play one of her songs for kicks before Matthew arrived.
