New Guy... (Pg 13 Open :P)

Chiva lifted her head, crystal blue eyes running over every little detail of her surroundings. She could feel a cool wind brushing through her coat, sending a shiver along her spine. The scent of decay filled her nostrils, and Chiva inhaled deeply, savoring the natural smell. Her ears swiveled around, their attention turning to every little crack or rustle. With a snort, the young mare took off at a steady trot, tossing her head with like a foal. The grass bent beneath her four white hooves, springing up shortly after she had left. She wasn't tiny, nor extremely large, but a medium size. Larger than a mustang, smaller than a draft.

A shrill whinny widened her blue eyes, and she turned her head to get a better perspective. "Forcer..." Chiva pondered, shaking the thught out of her head.

Her muscles were highlighted beneath her tabiano coat, and they shifted every time her hooves struck the ground. She gradually got into a rhythm, tossing her head and neighing in reply. She flagged her tail behind her, and it flew like a banner in the wind. The scent of the stallion grew stronger, and she increased her pace. Chiva couldn't help but be excited. She was young, curious, and easily excited after all.

When she reached the stallion, she rose upon her hind legs, striking out with a dew dampened hoof. Her heart was thudding from the gallop, but who could pay attention to being out of breath? The new horse was taller than her, not by much thought.
