Maine isn't a complainer, and is always trying to find the best she can make things out of. She is very generous with many things, whether it's money, possessions, or nice things. With certain things, however, she is very possessive over and doesn't like to share. This includes the things she uses most, and some electronics. Coming from a rich family, everyone knows her name and people often say that she is a rich snob. She doesn't talk much, so she never really dispelled the rumor. Even though she is generous, she can't find the words to express herself, most of the time. She never really smiles, but when she does, it's not too big. Only when she's alone does she smile much, or give a real smile.

Maine didn't know who her father or mother were, though she never really wanted to know. Maybe it was the fact that she wouldn't like what she would see, or that she didn't want to know the details about her early months. Her parents adopted her, into the riches of course. She hadn't known hardship like others, she always had what she wanted, and didn't have to share. She was the only child, and she fit right in with her adoptive mother. Even if her mother adored her with gifts, she didn't have trouble with something less. She liked to enjoy walking in the mud barefoot when she was a kid, or climbing trees and seeing how high she could go. She would always worry her mother, even if she was a bird kid. She hadn't thought of it when she was a kid, flying around around the ceiling, trying to land on a branch, or flying downstairs. It seemed so commonplace, though she reminded herself that she couldn't remember when everyone would stare at it. All the maids at the estate kept there lips shut, whether it was blackmail, power, or just money. They loved to watch her fly though. Looking back on it, these were happy times. It all turned into a mess when she had walked into her dad's office. There she learned about her real reason of adoption, and what she was planned for.
She could almost remember every word that was printed on that piece of paper, even though it seemed foggy now. She was adopted into the family because of the secrecy it would provide, and the money to keep lips sealed. Her family and their money were apart of a underground movement, but she didn't know what. There had been plenty of other names on that list, but she couldn't finish reading. Even if she didn't read the names one by one, she knew by the length of the paper, they had contributed thousands of dollars to the cause. She hadn't told anybody, and tried to act like it never happened. Even if she tried to hide it, her parents soon noticed. She was checked by a doctor, who was probably paid off, but they couldn't find anything wrong with her. Then they started to increase the gifts, until she couldn't help but not love all the expensive things she had.
