it was one of those warm nights in new york city. everyone was out and about going from one club to another or one bar to the next. Kara mercy wasn't your average 21year old, she had secrets that no one would have guessed to be true. she had long dark blood red hair, that fell to almost the middle of her back. which paired well with her light pale blue eyes, the hair and eyes complimented her 5'7 curvy frame. she was a hostess at one of the most well known clubs in new york, sweet & vicious. Kara wore a black sequined strapless dress with black high heels as she seated people. she was out going and friendly, she had this allure about her which drew people to her, not always the best people for that matter. Kara smiled and joked around as she sat a group of girls at a booth next to the dance floor, " enjoy ladies" she smiled as she headed over to the bar to put in drink orders and take some to tables. as the night went on the dance floor packed as edgy music played. " come on Kara lets dance" a blonde begged as she dragged Kara to the dance floor " alright fine but only because were almost off" Kara giggled and started to dance with some of the other girls who worked there as well. Kara was in her own world as she danced with her friends, soon they went to the bar to get drinks kara turned down drinks as she wanted to make it home some how. she could not help but feel a pair of eyes were on her even though there were hundreds of people in the club.

the music continued to grow louder it seemed as Kara and her girls danced and had drinks. " come one Kara just one drink is not gonna hurt you" a brunette pleaded taking a sip of her own drink. " then who would make sure the rest of you got a cab home" she smiled and laughed as she took a drink of her water. " well at least come dance with us again" a blonde called as she took Kara's hand and started to pull her and the brunette towards the dance floor. then went right pass Darren, the blonde pushed Kara into him as she stumbled. " oh I'm sorry sir, let me make it up to you get what ever you want and tell the bar tender to put it on mercy's tab." Kara smiled politely then got dragged away by her friends to dance. pop and hip hop music played as the girls danced on the floor enjoying them selves. with out even meaning to try and be the center of attention, Kara became it. it did not help wearing a black sequined dress and her unusual hair and eye color.

FEW HOURS LATER

" OK you two get home safe, ill call you when i get home" Kara shut the door to the cab as she waved off her two friends. she now had on a leather jacket to keep warm as it was breezy at night. Kara wrapped her arms around her waist as she went back inside the club to tell her boos she was leaving and to get her pay check. " alright Kara be safe" called her boss as she walked out the front doors. she started to hum to herself as she headed to her apartment. a few drunk guys whistled at her trying to get her attention but she kepted walking. " hey red head why not come have some fun with us" one of the drunks called as they started to follow her. Kara did not answer but grew uneasy as she started to walk faster heading towards central park, which was a short cut to her apartment. even though there were some people out the drunks grabbed Kara by her arm " hey were talking to you" one growled out. " let go of me" she pleaded as she looked around for help.
