I gritted my teeth then tore open a slit on my wrist with my fangs. I gently opened her mouth and let my blood drip into her now open mouth before I pressed my wrist to her mouth.

I woke up three hours later in my bed and called the cops as I could hear someone moving in my apartment

I went into her bedroom and saw she was awake. "Oh, good. You're awake." I said, setting down the cup I had in my hands on her nightstand.

"Leave this house now!" I yelled as I got as far away as I could without hurting myself too bad

"Don't move. You were beaten up pretty badly." I replied, handing the cup to her.

I had enough of this shit. I got up grabbed his shirt and dragged his ass out the door,"Go away creep." I said slamming what was left of my door and using my magic so he couldn't get back in

I glared at the now closed door, wondering what had gone wrong. She should have grateful to me for saving her life.

i pressed my back to my door and closed my eyes. I was breathing hard and had to stop moving so i could catch my breathing

I headed for my house.

I opened the door,"Why did you save me?" i asked looking at him

I stopped and turned around. "Because you drew my interest." I replied.

"How did I do that?" i asked looking at him up and down,"And why did you try to stop that guy in the bar?" I asked

"I don't know." I replied. Then I heard her next question. "I could tell what he was going to do. Sometimes mind reading can come in handy. Other times, not so much." I told her.

"But why would you save me? You don't know me." I said nodding as I looked at him. I guess he was kinda handsome

"I don't know." I replied, truly not knowing. Normally I wouldn't have done such a thing. There was something different about this girl, something I couldn't put my finger on.

I looked at my hands before his face, I stepped aside,"You may come in." I said keeping an eye on him in case he tried something with me,"Try anything I'll kill you without hesitation." I said meaning it

I nodded and stepped inside.

I shut the door and let my magic fix the door,"Quite a mess you've made in my apartment." I said going to the kitchen and getting a True Blood for him. I turned on the stove and started to make my dinner since I was starving

"Sorry about that. I kinda panicked when I didn't hear your heartbeat." I replied, following her into the kitchen.

"Yeah well ya could have fixed it up. I hope that's to your liking." I said pointing to the glass container containing blood for him since I knew what he was.

"It's fine." I replied, picking up the glass and lifting it to my lips.

"Is it gross? I guess those aren't the most new so yeah." I said blushing softly as I turned away to focus on not burning my supper. "I'm curious can vampires eat human food or no?" I asked as I didn't know if it was true

"I can but I can't speak for other vampires." I replied after taking a sip of the blood.

"Hold on." I said getting my purse and heading out to get him something fresh and not old. I got back heated the blood up, and put it into a cup and took the old stuff away from him and put the new warm stuff in front of him. "Would you stay here tonight? I really don't want to be alone tonight." I said looking at him some what but still embarrassed for asking him to stay when he probably had something else to do than look after a scardy cat like me

"Sure. I'll stay." I replied, picking up the newer, warmer cup of blood.
