"Glad you like it." I said getting up and cleaning my dish and whatever was left I fed to the pigs. I soon went outside by the river and began to wash my clothes naked since I only had about four dresses, two for working, one for every day, and one for church. I soon then began to wash myself

I splashed him back and ran for the shore but coming up short when I saw a man. I backed up, that was my would have been husband, he was very abusive.

"Gabby come here now." I said sternly

I followed her to the shore and saw a guy glaring at Gabby. "Who are you?" I asked him, wrapping a protective arm around her waist.

I turned towards his side and buried my face into his shoulder scared. I was shaking with fear,"Don't let him take me." I said whispering it to him as if he did I would be forever lost to him and our baby would be killed by him.

"I am her husband." I said walking a little forward and stopped with my arms crossed over my large muscled chest. My arms muscles bulging.

"I won't." I whispered back to her, holding her tightly against me. Then I turned back to the other guy with a sneer. "Yeah right. I don't see a ring on her finger. And if you're her husband why aren't you living with her and keeping her safe?" I replied, glaring at him.

"She ran away from me. She knew I'd be coming for her once I found her and now I have and intend to take her with me. And get rid of that bastard child while I'm at it." I said walking forward and grabbed her arm and tugged her quickly from him and against me.

I glared at him and pulled Gabby back to me and put her behind me. "I don't think so." I growled. Then I swung my fist and punched him square in the nose.

The punch didn't faze me at all, I laughed,"I will take her and I will get rid of that abomination of a child from her womb." I said punching him in the nose breaking it and driving him back and making sure he fell into the water. I grabbed Gabby and put her over my shoulder and got onto my horse and rode off.
