By that apple tree is one corner, and the stream there is ours. *I turn around and find myself surprisinglyclose to your face*

I stare into your eyes, shocked by their magnifisence. (SP big time?)

*I back up* Anyways, yes. You can do border patrol with .... Never mind, I see you're a queen.

I strain to keep myself from hissing 'what's that supposed to mean' and just follow you in silence. I'm fine with open space, Fireclan has a lot of it back home, so it doesn't bother me, but I find myself wishing for our forest, but I keep it out of my eyes and expression.

*I lead you back* Braveshine!
Braveshine: You're back! *I rub against him, and you see we're mates*
Firesoul: *I rub back then step back* This is Braveshine, Firesong.

I smile at the mare, not put off in the least, but still wondering why he looked so familiar...
"Hello" I say politely.

Braveshine: Hello. New to the Clan, I see?

"Yes" I nod

I see Now--- *I look at a light brown horse come forward* What, Longtail?
Longtail: An intruder! *I snort* He's accepting worthless horses now. If her stupid smell won't bring enemy clans, it just might bring dogs.

I hiss "Most of my clan would say that about you if you ever came onto our territory." I could have said more but stop myself. ( Is he blind like the one in the books?)

(Not yet. Do you know what happened to make him blind, and how Willowfur died?)
Longtail: At least I'd wash my scent off!

(He got scratched in the eyes by a rabbit, but maybe it should be a cat, you know, for the sake of Irony. But I forget about Willowfur, Isn't longtail ThunderClan?)

"It wouldn't work, unless you rolled in manure, at least it would improve your scent."

*All of the warriors look at you with flattened ears*
Longtail: Dare call yourself a horse?
Darkstream: *My lips pull back in a snarl*
Firesoul: *I give a low growl*
(Willowfur died saving sootfur from a badger)

(Oh, right. It's been a while since I read those books, and I don't own them, so I couldn't look them up)

I don't cringe but slightly hang my head to show i'm sorry, still seething with anger, but force myself not to show it. You're too calm, I tell myself. Most normal warriors woul attack if someone said something that hurt their pride, I guess practice at being the diplomat helps in these sorts of situations.

Tallstar: Enough@ Let's show our Clan members respect! *I roar*

He's new at being the leader I think to myself. Not in a bad way, but it is kind of obvious, almost as obvious as the fact that he's only talking to me.

Tallstar: Firesoul, come here!
Firesoul: *I come up, and get a shocked look on my face* Get Echosong! *I'm looking at FireSong*

I nod and go off to find her

Echosong: *I'm gathering herbs by the stream*

I see her and walk over "TallStar wants you"

Echosong: *I let out a silent wail and rush off to him*
Tallstar: Come! *I shove both you and Echosong into my den, where you see a she- horse - Tallstar's mate - panting heavily*
Willowheart: *I pant hard and curl up*
Echosong: No! *I quickly give her herbs*

I look on, horified "What's going on?"
