Wf: *I walk up to Firesoul* Daddy, I need a mentor!
Firesoul: *I lift my head* I....soon, Willowfoal.

(wasn't Tallstar her dad? Or does she not know that?)

I smile at Willow, remembering how I had begged and pleaded to have a mentor before i actually got one. "It's starting" i say mischieviously.

FF: i look at sis confused, not yet knowing what a mentor was.

(She forgot)
Willowfoal: *I sigh and walk off*
Firesoul: *I laugh*

Flaming Foal: I walk over to a clump of grass and test it.


I smile.

Firesoul: *I roll over*

I watch him then ask in a quiet voice. "when do you think we should tell Willow" I say so she can't hear.

Firesoul: Whatever your heart tells you.

"I think she's old enough to know, but young enough to not hate me" I say and go over to her "Willowfoal, we nead to talk." i say, and gesture towards the training area where we won't be overheard.

Firestar: Good decision.
Willowfoal: *I walk over there.*

"Willowfoal, before I begin, I need you to know that I love you as a daughter and will always love you, no matter what." I begin.

Willowfoal: *I nod*

"But..." I pause, easing in to it. "I am not your birth mother."

Willowfoal: Then who is my mommy?

"Your mother, WillowHeart, died having you." I look at you sadly. "You would have died too, but I offered to care for you and i still have no regret over that choice" I smile at you a little.

Willowfoal: Who's my daddy?

"Your daddy was, Tallstar" I say quietly.

Willowfoal: A Leader!?

"Yes, dear"

Willowfoal: *I nod* Okay.

I smile nad take her back to camp.

*I follow*
Firesoul: *Asleep*

I start assigning duties to the clan members for the day.

Longtail: What do you want me to do?

"Border patrol with Talonprick. I still don't trust Shadowclan to their word.

Longtail: *I dip my head* Okay.
