Namib....(somewhat based upon the movie Hidalgo)

The horse
NAMIB~
The 4o number of horses, crowed in a line, the horses neighing loudly ready to take off... Namib stood there moving around, Frank his Partner patted his neck. A man came up to him, and started translating everything the other men say. A man high above a tower said in some language that Frank did NOT understand... Frank looked back down at the man, the man said " What he say, ride each day to sunset." The man paused before going on while Frank listened. " Start again each dawn." Frank turned infront of him, while the man spoke " Those who suvive will reacht he half way Robcallie. Shall be rewarded with full days rest. The tenth cup will reach the half way point before you." The man said Frank looking at him like he was crazy.. The man went on. " Traveling by cammel road. While he say strength to your horses." Frank dipped his head up at the man who was talking. " And be god have mercy on your souls." The man finished and Frank sighed. The old man up ont he tower grasped a gun in his hand and held it there a few moments. " Goodbyw cowboy." The man said and walking off. Frank waved goodbye seeing everyone get ready... Frank locked his grip onto Namibs reins and some of his mane... Frank fixed his hat. The man beside him lifted him hawk into the air, Frank watched and raised an eyebrow before turning in front of him, waiting... All the horses got ready and so did Frank and Namib................. Horses reared, adn Frank looked up at the old guy at the tower, he loaded his gun and BOOM! The gun went off, adn all the horses jumped forward and took off... Nambi coming in third. All the horses bolted off, dust flying everywhere... " Ease up let them go." Frank told his horse. Others passing them by...

Zahwah(Means eauty, Pretty)


(bit of a twist hope you don't mnd. couldnt find any from Hidalgo so yeah)


Zahwah sat atop of Layyen, waiting. Eyes trailin up to the man and then her gaze slid towards the mustang and cowboy. What was he doing here anyway? Didn't he realise people would judge him and his horse? They were too different. Well, then again, Layyen attracted attenion too. She was an expensive mare owned by Zahwah and known to never be allowed to be ridden by anyone other then her. Zahwah, herself, was covered enough so people didn't realise it was her, but, it would only be time before they found out. Layyen snorted, wanting to get going, hooves stamping the hot desert sand, spraying it into the eyes of horses behind her, making them rear and squeal. Finally, they could go, ad Layen took off, ears flicking forard and strides excited. But Zahwah tugged on the reins gently, and though the mare foughtagainst, flicking her head into the air, she slowed, alloing everyone to pass. The only one behind her ndLayyen was the cowboy and the paint stallion. Layyen kiced out in musement, narrowly missing the stallion's fac, before Zahwah pulled her away from them. No need to bring any more attention to themselves.

As Frank pulled Nambi back, he looked at the girl and her mare. Nambi snorted trolting forward, his head going up in the air. He snorted. Everyone started to walk, the sun began to go down. The sand flew up from behind Nambi his sharp pointed hooves made the sand fly up everywhere... As everyone turned into a little area of green, and trees, Nambi rode in. Frank pulled on the reins, and stoped him. As Nambi was stopped Frank got off. The man on the other side that was prushing his stallion looked up to see th cowboy. Nambi pawed the ground, and began grazing... His tail flicking bak and forth and his ears twitching. Frank gatehred some wood, and a log, he dstarted a fire under the night sky....
