Landing with a delicate grace, the mare was youthful and there was something lovely about this place. She looked around at the beautiful clouds that kept her aloft and marveled at their beauty. She could see shapes mottling the distance. Curious, for her mother had kept her solitary, she wandered in the direction. The need to fly and travel had brought her far from her ancestral lands, but this place looked lovely, and she couldn't pass up seeing such a wonderful marvel. She had dreamed so long of places beyond her family's rocky mountain, that anything would be a welcome change. She was nomadic in a way, for now. She wondered what she would find on her journey. She moved like a slip of silk, her wings glistening in the iridescence of the moon above her. She loved the look and feel of it, and her horn just shone from the bright moonlight, guiding her way with its purplish glow.
