Sitka~

I roamed through the area, thinking about where I was going. My heart only told me one thing. That I was not getting anywhere by roaming in circles. So I started dashing through the place, and through the trees. "¡Vamos! Debe haber algún refugio en algún lugar!" I barked as I tried to find shelter. Soon I found a cave big enough, and I dashed towards it. It was abandoned, but it would do. I curled inside of it, and started mumbling to myself. "Si yo me encontraba a un compañero. Pero no es sólo un amigo. Un alma gemela." I growled, wanting a soul mate.

A beautiful white she-wolf loped around a turn. She paused for a second and shook out her pelt.

Sitka~

I yawned tiredly and trotted out to see who was outside. There stood a beautiful she-wolf, and my blue eyes glittered. "Hola señorita!" I yowled in Spanish. My thick coat gleamed in the moon light, as I padded forward. "May I ask who you are?" I asked, this time in English.

Lunari lifted her head when she heard a wolf call to her in a strange language. She was instantly on her guard. She eyed thwe wolf wearily. "Who are you?" she asked, not unkindly.

"My name is Sitka." I replied in English, jumping up onto a rock. "Please excuse me using Spanish, señorita." I said, the last word in Spanish. "And what is your name?" I asked, my Mexican mixed in with an American accent.

Still weary. "My name is Lunari," she replied. She backed away a couple of steps, still worried that this wolf might be a forcer.

I cocked my head at Lunari. "Why be so afraid, señorita?" I asked curiously. "I am no forcer, I assure you." I reassured Lunari, taking a step forward.

"How do I know that?" she asked. She pinned her ears and backed away. "How do I know that you're not lying to me?"

"Because if I was, I would have mounted you already." I replied, sitting down. "I swear on the name of my beloved brother, Denahi. You will not be forced." I swore, looking up at the sky.

Lunari relaxed a little. "True," she said and sat down. She looked him up and down.

"Is English the only language you speak?" I asked, padding down towards her.

Lunari whined and pinned her ears. "Ye-Yes," she stammered. She started to shake as Sitka drew closer.

"Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you." I promised, stopping at where I was.

Lunari relaxed again. She sat down on the ground and watched him curiously. "Why are you here all by yourself?"

"I have been alone all my life with my best friend Leo." I replied.

Lunari sniffed the air. "I don't smell any other wolf," she noted. "Where is he?"

"He... Died, about a month ago." I replied sadly, letting a tear run down my cheek. "That's what I think. But I get the feeling he's alive." I added, letting my head droop.

Lunari padded up to him and licked the tear from his cheek. "Please don't cry," she said gently. "I did mean to hurt your feelings with my question."

"No, its not your fault." I replied and touched my nose to hers. I felt so heart warmed by her touch, and couldn't help myself. I nuzzled her.

Lunari backed away at his touch. "Wha- Why did you touch me?" she asked. She looked away shyly.

"Because you.... I uh." I stammered, not having an answer to what she asked. "I don't know." I choked out.

Lunari giggled at his stuttering. "It's okay," she said, grinning. "I don't mind, I'm just not used to it though."

"OK, good. So why are you alone?" I asked her, cocking my head.

Tears started to fall down Lunari's cheek at the thought of the memory. She collaspsed to the ground and covered her face with her paws. "My mate left me!" she cried.

My heart was suddenly crushed, and I curled next to her, licking her ears to comfort Lunari. "Your mate is half-brained and blind-sided! You deserve more than that." I spat, still licking her ears.
