I smiled and put my hand over the one he had on my belly. "I can't believe we're actually going to have a family together. I'm so happy. I love you with all my heart, Damon." I said, leaning my head against his chest.

I wrapped my arms around her and smiled,"I love you as well, and I'm happy to have a family with you as well." I said rubbing her back softly

I hugged him tightly then pulled back. "We should probably head back to the dance floor. I want to get some more dancing in before we go home." I told him, smiling slightly.

"I don't know if I want to share you." I said nuzzling her neck as I kept her in my arms and kissed the top of her head. I hated sharing her, I was the kind of guy that just wanted to keep my girl to myself

"I'll only dance with you, though." I replied, starting to nibble on his ear.

"I just don't want other males to see how sexy you are even while your pregnant." I said nuzzling her and shivering when I felt her teeth on my ear. "But if it makes you happy we can dance." I said nodding as I nipped her shoulder

"It would make me happy." I replied, shivering with pleasure when he nipped my shoulder.

My shoulders slumped. "Come on." I said taking her hand and leading her towards the dance floor. I took in the scents and smelt a rival werewolf that's always tried to take my girls.

I also smelt another werewolf and stiffened. I quickly chanted a spell under my breath that would mask my vampire smell and make me smell like a human.

I frowned at her and rolled my eyes. God this made me mad! She would rather smell like a human that stand by my side and fight for our love even if she's a vampire. I left and shifted. I ran into the woods not looking back, I needed to cool off before I hurt someone or worse killed someone. I smelt the male coming after me and I growled. I turned around and let the male slam against me. I didn't budge. I growled and lowered my head. I lunged and we began to fight. I was bleeding badly but I didn't care, I was working off my anger

I was shocked when he ran off but I left him be. I knew he needed to cool off. I went onto the dance floor and started to dance, one of my friends coming over and dancing with me since I had no on else to dance with.

I ended up with his jaws around my neck and suffocating me. I struggled to get free but it just wasn't happening. I took a shuddering breath that I could get and slipped away. Before I died completely I felt myself being dropped. My body went limp and my life slipped away

I struggled against the male and was losing miserably as I fought for air. I had to fight, I had a baby coming and I needed to be in my babies life. I growled but it sounded like I was gargling and I was on my own blood. Blood was dripping a steady stream out of my mouth as I felt adrenaline finally here to help me but I was exhausted.

I soon got a foreboding, dreading feeling, and stopped dancing. I told my friend I would be right back then I headed out of the club. I heard whimpers and whines of pain and I took off. I was at the sight of the fight in seconds and I slammed into the other werewolf, knocking him off Damon. I stood between it and my mate and bared my fangs, hissing. I clawed my hands, ready to fight if the other werewolf tried to attack again.

I laid on my side fighting for air as I was choking on my own blood. My body started to heal as I turned into a human and let the blood drip from my mouth and spit it out. "Go back to your human side since your so embarrassed to be with a werewolf where possibly other vampires could see." I said getting up as I felt back down, I tried again and got up and headed for home, I didn't care if I was stumbling and such but I'd rather walk home than see my mate to embarrassed to be seen with anyone that isn't her species just because she's scared of what might happen.

I took off the spell, no longer caring if anyone could smell what I was. I quickly caught up to him and grabbed his arm and gently put it over my shoulders. Then I wrapped my arm around his back and started to help him walk. "Don't complain. I'm helping you walk home." I told home, my voice leaving no room for argument.

I pushed away,"Just go back there and have fun. I'm done with this." I said as a single tear went down my face. I wanted to be with a mate that wasn't embarrassed to be with someone that wasn't her species and didn't care about what her species thought about it, that she was proud to be with someone that was an enemy to her race. Clearly she wasn't that female. I sighed and shifted to wolf and trotted away from her, I didn't want to leave but right now she wasn't healthy for me

"Don't Damon. I didn't mask my scent for myself, I did it for you. I'm not embarrassed to be with you, I'm proud to be with you. But I also want to protect you. That's why I did what I did. I don't want you be hurt for being with me. My kind will blame you for seducing me so they'll hurt you instead of me. But I want to be with you even if you are a werewolf. I don't care. Please don't leave me." I pleaded with him, sinking to my knees and feeling tears go down my cheeks.

*I don't care if they hurt me, I can take.* I said whining as I laid down lower than her and rested my big head on her lap whimpering up at her as I let my tongue sneak out and lick her hand and her stomach and nuzzled our baby. *I don't care if they find out, I'll fight for us and our baby*

I stroked his ears, looking down at him. Then I wrapped my arms around his neck and put my cheek against his. "I just don't want to loose you." I said, my voice muffled by my tears.

I leaned my head against hers and put my paws by her hips so I was laying more comfortably. *You won't lose me* I said as I licked her chest before shifting. I picked her up and put her in my lap before kissing her softly. I wiped the tears away from her face. "You won't lose me love, I'm a touch harder to kill." I said nodding
