I walked through the forest that I called home. I had my basket with me looking for vegetables and fruit, I kneeled down onto the soft earth as I searched for some of the most difficult to find vegetable. I used both hands to search the ground, through the leaves, and long grass but soon found what I was looking for and I smiled, "Found you, you sneaky thing." I said putting it in my basket. I soon stood up after picking all that I needed and headed back to the den where my mate is probably going crazy because I left the den when I had told him I'd stay there. I put my hand over my slight baby bump as I smiled, "Daddy is going to be very mad at mommy." I said smiling still as I crossed a very shallow stream and finally got home, "I'm home baby." I said calling out to him. I was readying for my mate to give me a lecture about staying in the den where I'd be safe because I was pregnant and other males were in this region that were looking for females since he was the alpha of this region. I put the basket down.
