Dusk snorted, laughing. "Doggiepet!" he said and pushed her into a sharp tree. "Leave me alone!" he lashed his tail angrily and trotted away. "Go pick on a mouse."

She yelped, but wasn't done with him. "Get back here you chicken!" She snapped and leapt onto his back, forcing him to the ground.

Dusk
laughed again and lifted his hind legs to send her into the air.
"Good-bye! Leave me alone, 'cause that would mean you like me." he said
in a childish voice and disappeared into the woods.

Dusk eventually found another elk and dragged it back to his den, seeing the doggiepet once more. "She wouldn't last a chance." he muttered and went on.

She sighed and sat under a tree as a blinding snow storm started. Rio whined and put her head on her paws, her body shivering heavily.

Dusk got back an ate til he was full, he then chillaxed in his den like nothing ever happened.

She raised her head. The wind was blowing towards Dusk as she howled, a howl of defeat, and sadness.

Dusk heard the howl, he perked his ears. He then lifted his head, and gave out a howl of happiness and teasing. He laughed and put his head on his paws.

She lay stifly down at his howl. The cold was getting to her, and the thought of her her bed by the fire made her whine. Her black fur was turning white with the snow. Once more, she let out a cracked, defeated howl before dropping her head.

She tried to get up, and after many fails, slowly did. Rio knew what she had to do. "Wolf!" she cried in a pitiful voice. She soon came to the mouth of the cave. "Wolf." She whined and collapsed , frozen to the bone.

Dusk got up, as soon as he got up he saw the doggiepet. He sighed and pressed up against her, to warm her, and groomed her with his warm tough.

She was shivering uncontrollably and she was pretty sure her ears had frost bite. "I never wanted to go on that hike." She whined and licked his leg. "I'm sorry!" She sighed as her ears went back.
