Bandit and Mint (Twisted )

Bandit's coat gleamed through the sunlight reaching out between the tall branches of the tree's, his steps confident and strong. He looked back, his younger sister following him her hooves sinking into the deep mud but she didn't complain. She knew that if she was with her brother she'd be alright. Bandit stopped waiting for her to catch up to him, when she did he nuzzeled the top of her head. Bandit was like her father protecting her from everything he could after his herd had been killed and they had managed to get away. "We'll get out of this mess soon" he said with a sigh seeing that the mud was really making her uncomfortable. He started walking again at a brisk pace, Mint a little bit behind trudged through the mud, her white socks now a brown shade. The pair kept going together, Bandit a leader and Mint a follower.
