Slightly hurt and alone (mature)

Buttercup limped into the meadow looking place, she needed to find a secluded place to lay down and rest. She had just fought off a few wolves and wasn't ready to fight again. She was bleeding lightly from the side, but she was more worried about her leg a wolf had latched onto it. She laid down in the high grass. She wanted to find a mate but she knew that she wouldn't be able to find one in this condition. She lifted her head and kept on the look out.

Damon trotted into the meadow, his cream colored coat shinning with health. He snorted, the new raft of blood clouding his scenes. With narrowed eyes, Damon snapped his head up. Rotating his massive crown, to the right. He sniffled, taking three steps towrds the smell. Damon peered through two oak trees, seeing a large white and cream colored mare laying down in the tall grass. Throwing his head up sharply, he jerked himself back. Cocking his head, with narrowed eyes. Damon slowly mad him way over to her, coming up behind her. He opened his mouth, speaking up his velvet, handsome voice echoing through the meadow. " Hello miss, are you hurt?" He asked, Damon had a 'Latin' voice.

Buttercup got up quick when she heard his voice, when she put pressure on her hoof she squealed and fell to the ground. "Wh...what do you want?" She looked at him eyes wide and scared. She started shaking, she wasn't normally like this but she knew she couldn't fight if he decided to fight her.

Damon scanned her, noticing she was bleeding badly. He sighed, walking towards her slowly. " I'm not gonna hurt you. Youa re hurt, and I'm here to help you.." Damon said. Bending his massive head down to sniff the wound. He snorted, squeezing his large body between two trees. Stretching his neck up to grasp cobwebs and pooppy seads. Damon made sure not to swallow. He walked back over to the mare, bending down to press the cobwebs on her leg, he snorted. Setting down the three poppy seads and next to her, he stood up straight and looked down at the rather small mare. Dipping his head, almost like a bow of respect. " Eat thte poppy seads they will ease down the pain, and don't lick your wound. You will get very sick if you eat the cobwebs that are on the wound." He said, he was a gentlemen and would never leave a horse in distress.

Buttercup looked at the stallion, "why are you doing this for me?" she took the poppy seeds and ate them like he said. She watched him carefully, mussels tense and she was ready to get up even if it would hurt.

Damon shrugged, " I don't becuase I'm not gonna sit and watch you suffer. I'm not like that." He said shaking his head.

Buttercup looked at him then at her wounds, "Thank-you" she whispered then looked at the grasses around her. She started to eat it laying down hoping that he wouldn't leave her alone in this state but yet she wanted him to leave her alone. She was still weary of him.

Damon shrugged down at her, turning and walking away. " Well your welcome!" He called over his shoulder. " Now its time for me to get back tot eh desert." Damon said with the slightest Latin acceint this time. HE snorted, trotting ahead.

Buttercup watched him leave and looked at her wounds, she perked her ears listening to him leave. How could someone help someone that was hurt but then not stay, she thought to herself.

Damon knew she was thinking, 'Why would he leave after he helped me..' HE wasn't really the type of stud to stay around, he moves around to much. From one place to another, he can't stand cool places, loves the heat of the moment. Then suddenly his hooves stopped him in his tracks, carrying him back towards the mare. Damon didn't know what was going on with him, but this time he turned around.

Buttercup twitched her ears and looked at him as he walked back. Somehow she felt safer with him near her, but still she looked at him questionably, "I thought you were leaving."

Buttercup leaned on him slightly and kept the pressure off of her one foot. She looked at him and shrugged gently, "I was just wondering. You don't seem like a stallion that would stay." she saw his smile and smiled back.
