Firesoul: *I raise my head* There shall be no more of this.

"No more of what?" I ask

"Of them attacking us."

"And how are we going to keep them from it?" I ask, my muscles flexing for battle.

Firesoul: *I look at her* We will not fight yet.

I nod

Firesoul lays down.

I lie down across from him.

Firesoul: *I look her in the eyes* Will you be my deputy?

"I would be honored to" I say, smiling.

Firesoul: *I nod* Will you be more than that? Will you be my mate? *I whisper*

I smile "Yes" I whisper back, and nuzzle you.

Firesoul: *I stretch out in the grass and close my eyes*
Willowfoal: Don't die! *I shreek*
Firesoul: I'm resting! *I laugh*

"It's ok baby. Everything will be alright." I say to willow and Flaming nuzzlling them.
FF: I whimper and and snuggle close to mama, only just being born.

Willow: *I curl up into her* Mom, where are the other horses?
Firesoul: *I flick my ears lazily*

"They're all right. they're in their dens and on patrol, as usual." I say, laying down
FF: i look at willow "hi" I say softly in a baby voice.

Willow: Hi.

I smile at my foals then begin to groom Willow.

Willow: *I sigh and soon fall asleep*

Ff: I snuggle next to willow and mama, and soon fall asleep.

I lay down next to them and nuzzle each in turn, then, exausted, I fall asleep.

Firesoul: *I groom her gently*

I feel him and smile in my sleep.

*I pull out a burr*

I open my eyes and lick him.

Firesoul: *I smile and lick her ear*
