Ponni Legend Starts A Herd

~Ponni~

My black and white form moves easily through teh forest. I raise my head and prick my ears forward. I reach a clearing with a small cliff ending it, and I trotted over to the edge and looked down. The sound and smell of the sea filled my senses, adn I heard the waves crashing against the cliff face. The cliff wasn't very high, and I could feel the mist on my face. I saw a pathway leading down the beach and walked down it slowly. The path was very steep and cut striaght into the cliff, and rocks and stones rolled from my feet into the water. I made it to the bottom and looked around. I cantered to the water and went it, water spraying everywhere. I went in until it the water came up to my stomach, and started cantering down teh beach. Progress was slow, as the water's currents pulled at my legs, but I loved the ocean, adn it didn't matter to me.

Chessy walked in and looked around. She snorted slightly and shivered. The wind near the sea was chilly and it was worse as her coat was covered in sweat. She looked as though she'd been swimming. She glanced around and flicked her tail. She'd have to take a break. 'I'll just wait here' she thought and lied down, looking around for any danger.

Ponni~

I don't see the mare and soon go out deeper. Water pooled over my back and my legs struck out before me strongly as I began swimming. Usually the currents were way too strong for a horse to swim through, but we were in a cove, and the currents were gentle adn lazy.

Chessty spotted the stallion and snorted slightly. She walked towards him slowly.

Ponni~

I hear someone approaching nda turn my head around, ears pricked forward. I see teh mare and whicker a soft greeting, changing direction to swim towards her. Soon my hooves struck teh stand adn I trotted the rest of the way to her, ears forward, picking my feet up high.

Chessy stopped and looked at the stallion. She let out a soft nicker to him, smiling.

Ponni~

I smile at her.
"Hello beautiful. I am Ponni Legend, just call me Ponni for short," I say, stopping short of her.

Chessy smiled. "Nice to meet you Ponni. I'm Chessy."

Ponni~

I smile at her.
"Where's your mate?" I ask curiously. Surely this beautiful mare had one.

Chessy pinned her ears and frowned. That was a touchy subject. "Well...he...he died...fighting to save me from another stallion...I..." she flicked her tail and stared at the ground. "I...figured it was time to get over him and find a new one, but it's been very hard..."

Ponni~

I look at her, sorrow in my eyes.
"I'm sorry to hear that," I say, honest sorrow and sadness making my voice heavy.

Chessy shrugged. "It's alright. I'm kinda thinking a new mate may help me get over it...how about you?"

Ponni~

I shrug.
"I've just been looking for the one I want to be with, to start a herd," I say, flicking my tail and snorting softly.

Chessy smiled. "A herd? That's sounds cool. I've never really been in a herd. My mate and I were loners...but you know. So...about this herd...you'd need a lead mare, right?" her eyes brightend slightly.

Ponni~

I nod.
"Yes, I will," I say calmly.

Chessy flicked her tail and flicked her ears. She let out a soft nicker. "Well...I'm always here." she lowered her head slightly.
