Runaway Filly

Enrico~
Hearing her shriek I jolt my head up, lurching to my feet, looking around. My eyes land on Katara.
"What is it," I say, stepping close to her.

Salero/Dez~
We wake up adn shake our heads, looking around.

~Katara~
I feel embarrased and shake my head. "It was...nothing..." I rest my head back on the ground and sigh. "Nothing..."

~Enrico~
I sigh and lay down beside her.
"We'll find her..." I say softly, though I didn't know how.

~Katara~
I rest my head on his shoulder and close my eyes. "We don't even know where to start..."

Enrico~
I sigh.
"We might not, be able to, find, her," I said quietly, unsure how to say it.

Salero~
I watch them both adn sigh, turning away from them both and laying my head down.

~Katara~
I closed my eyes, a tear streaming down my cheek. "They killed her, didn't they? The wolves."

Enrico~
I hesitate.
"Most likely than not," I say sadly, nudging her gently with my nose.

~Katara~
I sniff and sigh. "I guess we don't have to go looking for her."

Enrico~
I sigh, knowing that she probably wasn't in teh mood to talk. Dez and I hadn't wanted to hear that our family was dead, either, and Dez still hadn't gotten over it. Deep down, I hadn't, either.

~Katara~
I rested my head back down on his shoulder. "Now what?" I muttered.

Enrico~
I shrug.
"You can stay with us," I say, sounding awkward to myself. I shake my growing mane.

~Katara~
I smile small. "Really?"

Enrico~

I smile small and nod.
"Of course," I say.

~Katara~
I stand up and grin. "Thanks."

Enrico~

I smile adn nod.
"No problem," I say.

~Katara~
I looked around and sigh. "So now what?"

~ Enrico ~

I sigh and shrug.
"I guess we'll just wait for the sun to come up, then leave or stay here. Maybe we can find a herd or just wander until we can make one for ourselves," I say, looking at Dez and Sals.

~Katara~
I nod. "Yeah...okay."
I let out a small sigh and lied back down in the soft grass.

~ Enrico ~

I sigh softly and lay my head abck down, eyes half closed. I exhale loudly, watching the distant mountains where the sun would rise.

~Katara~
I closed my eyes and my breath steadied as I fell back into a deep sleep.

~ Enrico~

I sigh softly, opening my eyes to watch her sleep. Dez and Sals raced each other throughout the meadow, palying tag and practicing.

~Katara~
I wake up a little bit later and yawn, lifting my head to look around.
I noticed all the others weren't still sleeping, so I quickly jumped to my feet, my face feeling hot.
"Eehh...sorry. Late sleeper, I guess."

~ Enrico~

I smile small.
"It happens to everyone," I say, standing up and flicking my tail.

~Katara~
I shake my head, stumbling slightly over my own feet. I lower my head. "Ah...I'm so clumsy." I half whispered to myself.
I looked up at Enrico.

~Enrico~
I rech out with my nose to steady her.

~Salero~
I stop racing Dez, standing still as I look over at them. Swivelling my ears nervously, I sigh adn lay down in the soft grass, burying my face into the silky blades.
