The Endless Forest (Please Join!)

Rules for this rp-


These deer cannot communicate verbally. Only with their body.
Mates are allowed, but not encouraged.
If you do anything wrong, I will point it out.
Picturs you can use will be at bottom.
Stags can fight.
Fawns can play fight.
Does cannot.
Stags and does may adopt a fawn.
A small group can be formed, and a rouge stag can fight the leader.

Karu blinked his deep brown eyes open, seeing the Twin Gods towering above him. A throaty yawn escaped him as he stood and stretched, tail wagging a bit. Other deer were sleeping, roaming, eating. Two fawns were playing a game of Wolf. Oh, how Karu wished to be a fawn again. To wear the wolf mask and chase other fawns around. But no, he must be a proud stag.

Karu rubbed his left antler on a tree, wiggling as a pine cone fell. His eyes gazed at a doe, but quickly looked away when a Stag with much bigger antlers started to head his way. Karu bowed in respect, shaking slightly. He could almost hear the other stag thinking, chicken deer.

Bam! Antlers knocked him down. Karu rose to his feet, still groggy from his rest. It was a different stag this time. Karu, not being one to back down, locked antlers with the stag, pushing forward and digging his hooves int the wet soil. The young stag was pushed backwards, rolling into the mud. Karu shook the filth off, getting up and charging again.

Antlers clashed, and Karu twisted his neck around in attempt to knock his rival over.

Karu let out a yelp and he was thrown onto the rocky bank of the pond, and tears formed in his eyes as he saw the stag walk off with the doe.

Karu, feeling sorry for himself, ran away to avoid the mockery that would become of him. Ad soon the mud on his coat dired and cracked, and refused to fall.

these arent regualar deer? I would post but I kinda want regular ones

Only a few things set these deer aprt from real ones-

They have human faces, but if they have a deer cast a spell on them, the mask becomes there face. Like Karu.
And, the De Drinkplaats can turn them into different things, but only if you drink from it.


Those are the only things. And the different pelts but it is based off the actual game.

The Endless Forest is a multiplayer online game and social screensaver, a virtual place where you can play with your friends. When your computer goes to sleep you appear as a deer in this magical place. There are no goals to achieve or rules to follow. Just run through the forest and see what happens.

You are a deer. So are the other players. You meet each other in an endless forest on the internet. The setting is idyllic, the atmosphere peaceful. You communicate with one another through sounds and body language.
Currently The Endless Forest consists of a forest, a mysterious ruin, a lovely pond and as many deer as there are players at any given time. You can play the game anonymously but we encourage you to name your deer so other players can recognize you.

Although not goal-oriented, there are several activities that you can engage in. Nothing very demanding or violent. Just fun things to do in a nice environment.
Once every so often, the forest deities will appear, either in person or through their divine powers. Beware of falling rocks and sudden showers!

Agi stomped a cleaved hoof, her beautiful green and blue feathers blowing in the wind. They formed a circle around her elegent head, along with blue and green fur on her underside. Stepping forward, she blinked as she saw a tousle in the clearing, one that ended very quickly. She flicked her tail shortly, and stood there.

(Sorry it was a bad start.)

Karu shook his head, wanting revenge. He peaked through the brush, seeing a stag approaching a doe with the peacock feathers. With stomp of his hoof, he burst through the brush an rammed the male in the side. This fight lasted longer, now that they were an even match. Karu reared, flinging the stag over his head and onto the ground. It made him fall to the ground, and they locked horns again. Karu pushed, feeling as if his neck were about to break. Their horns released, and they both reared kicking and tossing heads. Karu, wanting to finish this, backed up, as if he was giving in. The one stag rubbed his horns in the dirt, thinking he won.

Karu charged, horns down. He collided with his rival, knocking him backwards. Karu reared, chasing the male a little way before returning to the bank. He called out to any females, seeing this was the rutting season.

Agi reeled backwards as a large stag barreled towards her. This was quite a dangerous time for does like her, and she was best to stay out of the action. He was about to reach her and claim him as hers, when a smaller stag burst out of the tree's, ramming him hard in the side. The fight went on, and it was obvious who would win. Agi's wonderful feathers ruffled in the breeze, along with her brightly colored, longer hair that grew on her stomach and chest. Agi left the scene as the two males scuffled, not seeing who had won the fight.

Karu's rival returned. With a sigh, Karu chased him, zooming past the doe who had watched them fight. The rival stoped, whirling around and meeting Karu's attack with his antlers. Karu threw him over hid head again, this time their antlers locking and sneidng Karu to the ground. The rival disconnected, quickly bowing and running off in defeat.

Agi's cleaved black hooves landed on the soft ground, and her large ears pricked upwards. She stopped, her front foot poised off of the ground, and turned her head, looking into the tree's behind her. The slight sound of fighting males could be heard from all directions, and Agi flicked her tail, letting her heat scent drift through the tree's, into every males nostrils. Better be bred now than later in the season, when everything got overly tough, and every male was after her. Not saying that they werent now, she was beaufiful.

Karu looked back at her, flicking his tail. He bent his knee and bowed in respect. It was his first year in the rut, since he had turned into a full grown adult only a week ago. He put his neck over hers, claiming her. He let out a grunt that let her know she was his, part of his herd.

Agi turned her delecate head, her deep eyes looking over the male that had claimed her. Well, he may have claimed her for the time, but there were plenty others that wanted her. Giving a small flick of her tail, Agi lowered her head in submission, letting the stag know that she knew that she was his, for the time being.

Karu licked her shoulder, and pranced off. He hoped she would follow.


He won several more fights, all against stags his age. Now several does were in his herd, and he gazed upon it proudly.

Agi didn't follow. She knew that she was up to claim, and though belonging to someone else, didn't mean that someone else couldnt steal her. After he had disapeared out of sight, she lowered her head to the grass, tearing it out and chewing, flicking her tail once in a while.

(Can I play one of the other studs? So this can get more interseting, or should we wait for others?)

Karu strutted back to the doe, the other does following him. He nudged her into the group, snorting and telling her to stay with the herd.

(First rival stag)

Arriv-
The huge stud lowered his head to the ground, pawing menacingly at the dirt with his sharp, cleffed hoof. He snorted, picking up the scents of females in heat, and his head shot up, his large rack hitting the leaves above him. They fluttered slowly to the ground, then he shook his head, and stepped forward. Raising his head into the air, he opened his mouth and let out a challange.

Karu let out a reply, snorting and stomping his hooves. His tail flicked, and he bunched the females tightly together.

(My new fawn's name is Bean : )

Arivv again, let out a loud, bugaling call, and stomped the ground, shaking his head, his massive rack swaying from side to side. Small twigs and branches were stuck within it, and he lowered his head, rubbing against the tree trunk, then rushed forward, spotting the much smaller male.

Karu replied, tellin ghis herd to run i things got bad.

The doe stopped, eyeing the new stag with intrest. As all of the other does fled, she stayed put, cocking her feathery head to the side a bit.

Can I join as a doe named Navel?))
