Alexander Sterling

I stepped back from her, pleased. "Good. Now, Logan, why are you trying to kill me? I know it's probably because I've been feeding on humans, right? But surely your lead hunters would have known who I am, what I'm capable of." I said, looking at her with interest. Normally the hunters haven't dated come after me before since I was the leader of all the vampires. I could easily have them destroyed with a snap of my fingers if they dared attack me. So why now? Were they wanting to get rid of this particular hunter?

Logan just rolled her eyes as he talked then looked him start in the face " you have no idea do you?" a smile appeared across her face amazed her hadn't noticed " well you are correct that you are in trouble for feeding off of humans, but i have been trailing you for about four years now learning your habits and traits" Logan smirked as she watched their faces at her words " this so called lead hunter your talking about is my uncle, but no one controls me. i do as i please" she sighed looking at her wrists then back at him " hopefully by now you know if not form tasting my blood I'm only part human but by the looks of your aura you didn't realize that till now"

The others might have been shocked but I wasn't. "Oh, I knew. You're a seer, right? You see, I make it my business to know everything there is to know about the hunters, especially the leader's little niece. Being the leader over all the vampires, it's my duty. I can't believe your uncle let you attack me. Or does he not know? No hunter has ever dared attacked me because the leader, your uncle, knows the consequences of that. With a simple command, I could have the whole hunter community annihilated. That is why I was surprised when you attacked me. I thought you were just watching me, observing me because that's mostly all the hunters have dared to do." I explained, smirking.

Logan hide the fact that he knew she was a seer, she simply listen to him talk her ear off about being the leader over all vampires, how he could have all the hunters killed, and how he knew about her. " oh look a smart vampire" she remarked " your right he doesn't know, but I'm sick and tired of watching vampires walk around acting as if the own this city." she pulled on her chains, her blue grey eyes glowing bright "well i am not like most hunters now aim i" with that said Logan grabbed onto the chain holding her right arm, her eyes glowing bright she started to pull. as Logan pulled her cane nine teeth, what looked like almost invisible started to turn into little fangs. she let out a growl and pulled the chain right out of the table. she fell to one knee breathing heavy " when your different form everyone else people think its okay to treat you like crap" she looked up into his eyes still breathing heavy " but i will not allow you to hurt innocent humans" she said as she started to stand again.

I watched with bored eyes as she pulled off her chains. "Don't underestimate me, little hunter." I growled. Then I lifted my arms and a blast of power sent her back against the metal table and long, metal arms came out from the table and wrapped around her but not tight enough that it would kill her. "Now, little hunter, don't cause me any more trouble. I am growing weary of this. Now, your choice, are you going to cooperate or am I going to have to hurt you?" I said, again approaching her and motioning for Quinn and James to also step forward with me.

before Logan could regain her breath the lead vampire had her thrown back at the metal table that now had metal arms to hold her down. she looked up at his face still breathing a bit heavy with a little bit of blood coming off her lip as she had bit it when he throw her into the table. " trouble has always been something i was good at" she remarked as she watched to of the male vampires move towards her. Logan's small fangs were still out as she growl at the vampires, her eye ment the two vampires with a glare before giving the leader a death look

I sighed and said, "Looks like you're not going to cooperate." Then I turned to my companions and ordered, "Leave us." They all nodded and left. The moment after they did I released a relieved sigh and rushed over to Logan. "Are you alright? I apologize for my earlier actions. I have to keep up a tough and mean exterior when I'm around other vampires. It's the reputation I have. I'm not going to hurt you, okay? I'll let you go if you want me to." I told her, looking her over to see if I had injured her.

(He has kind of a split personality.)

Logan readied herself to die as she heard the vampire start to talk again. she was surprised when he asked the other vampires to leave, Logan guessed he wanted to kill her and feed on her himself. it caught her off guard when he came rushing up to her apologizing for his earlier actions and was checking to make sure she wasn't hurt. for once in her life Logan was speechless, she could not wrap her head around a vampire actually being nice, but the first thought that came to her mind over herself was her guns " I want my knife and pistols back" she said as she looked at him. his expression had soften and acted like a completely normal person. Logan felt blood coming from her lip when she bit it earlier and started to try to wipe the blood off. her eyes began to glow as she looked at his aura which was back to a calm dark maroon " who are you and why are you being nice now. " she was beyond confused

"Of course. I'll get them from Rose." I replied, waving my hand so the metal arms would unwrap from her and go back into the table. I was reaching out my arms to help steady her when I heard her question. I sighed and ran a hand through my long black hair. "Well, I'm not sure where to start. My father, the old leader, was killed a few years ago, maybe five or six. I took the position as leader a month or so after that. I was expected to be tough and mean and anxious to take over. But I wasn't. You see, my mother was human so I'm actually part vampire, part human. She knew what my father was and what his position in the vampire world was. She chose to raise me away from the vampire world. I had no contact with my father. I only met him once when I was five but I barely remember him. My mother taught me to treat humans as my equals, not as food. Thanks to the way my mother raised me, I was different from the rest of my kind. I treated humans with kindness and only feed from them when I absolutely had to. I even had several human friends." I paused to take a breath. I hadn't revealed this much about myself to someone in a long time.

Logan simply nodded her head as the vampire said he would get them from rose. she was still on guard as he released her from the metal hands of the table, as he reached out to help her she shied away a bit not want to temp fate just in case this was an act. Logan rubbed the blood form her lips and check her wrists out as the vampire told her his story. her eyes widen when he said he was only part vampire, Logan could not believe it, the ruler of the vampires was only half vampire. she looked him over form head to toe and got right up in his face looking at his eyes " you don't give off an aura of only being half. i mean yeah maroon is a rare color to find.." she trailed off as she took a step back and sighed " what happen to your mom" Logan asked not sure of what else to do to be honest

I sighed and said, "My mother passed a few months ago. And I am only half vampire although no one but those closet to me know that. Rose is the only one who knows how I really am and my past. And now you do too. I would really like it if you wouldn't tell anyone what I told you, though. If it was to get out that I was part human..." I trailed off, not wanting to think of the fate that would befall me if my past ever reached the wrong ears.

(I have to get off now. Bye! I'll be on tomorrow!)

Logan felt bad about asking about his mother only to find out she had passed away " I'm sorry to here that, but at least you were able to grow up with sometime of family....my was killed in a fire by vampires since we are hunters" Logan cleared her throat and brushed her light lavender hair form her eyes " don't worry I wont tell anyone. we all have secrets, ill share one of mine with you in return...after my uncle took me in, he trained me to become a hunter and then to make sure i was the ultimate hunter a few months ago he fused my blood with that of vampire and werewolf. that's why i have fangs like a werewolf with the poison bit to kill vampires and i got some of the strength of a vampire even though I'm just learning how to use all of it. but i don't need to drink blood that was a trait they took out." she knew he could use this against her but she figured might as well gain trust what could it hurt plus there was something about this vampire even if he was only half vampire.

I listened to her, nodding at the appropriate times. "You're lucky you don't have to deal with the hunger for blood. Since I'm only a half vampire it doesn't affect me as much but I still have to feed at lead once a week. I've dragged feeding out for two weeks but I regretted it afterwards. The pain is indescribable. After that I never drew it out again." I said after she was finished talking. I heard a noise come from upstairs and my attention was automatically jerked towards the basement stairs.

she listened as he told her about his drinking habits.Logan wondered if that meant full bloods had to feed from frequent, but soon her attention was fixed on the sound that came form the basement steps. her fangs became visible again and a low growl came from her throat as she slowly backed towards the table to make it look like he hadn't freed her. her black nails started to turn into claws as her eyes glowed trying to see who or what was coming down to the basement.

I listened intently then relaxed. "It's alright. It's Rose." I told her, watching as Rose came into the basement. "My lord, Count Merdack is requesting your presence. He is waiting in the drawing room. Should I tell him to come back tomorrow? It is getting quite late." Rose asked. I thought for a moment then said, "Tell him to come back tomorrow. I would like to go to bed soon." Rose nodded, bowed then left. I turned to Logan and said, "Speaking of it being late, would you rather stay here tonight or have me escort you to your home? If you decide to stay here, we have plenty of guest rooms for you to choose from." I looked at her, waiting for her answer.

Logan relaxed slightly as she saw the red/pink aura of rose, she had decided to trust the half vampire that the female was on their side. Logan recognized the name rose had said, know full well it was another powerful vampire. she gritted her teeth before hearing the male talk to her once again, Logan thought for a moment about what she should do. she looked him in the eyes " i would not like for you the escort me back to my place as it is an area where most hunters live and you would not be safe...but how would i be safe here with those other vampires" she stated before taking a sigh " i will stay here " she walked towards him fangs and claws retracting " but many only so i can get my guns and knife back " she smirked " let it be known that if one of those other male vampires even comes close to hurting or trying to attack me, i will have their heads" Logan stood in front of him, her head barely reaching where his heart was " whats your name by the way, you know mine but i don't know yours"

"Don't worry. If they know you're under my protection they'll leave you alone. And I'll make sure they know it." I replied. I was turning from her when I heard her request to know my name. I turned back towards her and said, "It's Alexander, Alexander Sterling." Then I turned around and walked away from her and paused by the bottom of the basement stairs to wait for her.

Logan felt more at ease as the half vampire promised the other vampires would leave her alone.she watched him turn and start to walk away form her heading towards the stairs. he turned and told her his name, Alexander, it was a fitting name for him she thought as she walk forward to the basement stairs where he was waiting for her. " uhm I'm sorry for slicing your cheek earlier, if I would have known how you truly are I wouldn't have done that" she said avoiding eye contact as a light pink blush came across her cheeks.

"It's alright. I shouldn't have done what I did  you were in the full right to protect yourself." I replied, starting up the stairs. I held out my hand towards her, offering to help her up the stairs if she needed it.

(Me and my parents are at the hospital.)

" yeah well I let my temper get the better of me" she admitted as they started to walk up the stairs. a few seconds later Logan saw Alexander hold out his hand towards her, she did not exactly know what to do as this would be the first time she had held hands with some one. since her parents were killed when she was a child, Logan never had time to actually learn how to be a girl so much. training took up much of her time, but she decided to hold his hand anyway. her small petite hand was engulfed by his much larger one, Logan's cheeks still had a light pink blush that only grew brighter as their hands touched.

(We're fine. My dad just had to get his appendix taken out. He's in surgery right now.)

I smiled when she took my hand and I gently squeezed it. I led her the rest of the way up the stairs and opened the basement door and held it open for her.

(well that's good that you all are okay. ill pray that the surgery goes smoothly and that he recovers fast. )

she didn't know what to do when he gently squeezed her hand, so Logan squeezed his back tightly and didn't let go. as they reached the top of the stairs, Alexander opened the door to the basement and waited for her to go through first. Logan was unsure, but knew he wouldn't let anything bad happen to her so she went through the door first but as soon she she went through she almost right away held her hand out searching for his.

After she had gone through I walked through the door and let it close behind me. I grabbed her hand, noticing it had been searching for mine. I led her over to the stairs that would go to the upstairs area where the guest rooms were.

once their hands were reunited, Logan felt more at ease. they began to walk to the stairs that led up towards the guest rooms, Logan held on tight to Alexanders hand following him as she looked at her surroundings. this house was huge, she wondered his he lived here his whole life or only after his parents died, but she decided not to ask questions.

(He's out of surgery now.)

I walked onto the second floor and led her down the hall towards a guest bedroom. "This where you will stay. My room is right across the hall so just holler of you need anything." I replied, pointing between the two rooms.
