Warrior Cats

Sunpaw:
I watched intently, not saying a word, hoping that the two could save my adoptive father. I listened to their every word and somehow remembered everything. I guess I was preparing for in case this ever happened again. I looked around and saw eyes glaring at the cats. I stood up and padded toward them. I looked closer then felt a claw scratch across my nose. I yowled and scratched it back. I saw blue-ish fur and thought No...it can't be. Not Bluepaw The cat piped up and he had a low menacing voice. It said "I know what you're thinking. But I'm not Bluepaw. I'm Russetstream. I tried to kill your mother but Darkfire picked up the prey first. Now you see what has happened!" I looked at the cat and said "Get out of our territory or I'll chase you out!" The cat sighed and turned around. But he quickly whirled around and leaped at me. I fell on my back but I kicked him off. I got on top of the cat, dodging his kicking and clawing, and scraped his back. The cat yowled in pain and ran off with me chasing him all the way to Riverclan territory. I ran back and said "I found out who poisoned my father. He was trying to get to Spottedstar but Darkfire got the prey first. It was a Riverclan cat. But I chased him back to Riverclan territory." I breathed quickly for I was tired after fighting a full grown cat who was probably twice my age. I looked at them again and said "What did I miss and is Darkfire gonna be okay?"

I looked at Cougarpaw and Dreamfeather and said "Thank you for your help. If my father survives, I'll tell him who saved him. He will be eternally grateful." I looked around and called for Berrykit. I told her "Darkfire will be under your care. I will not fault you if he dies. And if he lives, you will be a hero."

Sunpaw:
I walked back and said "You know. You seem really happy like this. I can't help but think, maybe we made the right decision. But then sometimes I regret it." I looked at Vinepaw and Cougarpaw and couldn't help but to think That could be Cougarpaw and I someday...but maybe not.

I can't because that would be forbidden

Pantherpaw looked over his shoulder. "So Vinepaw...why was Sunpaw so...changing moods when she seen Cougarpaw when we didn't talk to her". he said because he seen her looking terrified when he talked to her.

Sunpaw:
I padded up to Pantherpaw and Vinepaw and said "You'll never believe this but your brother just saved my dad's life! A Riverclan cat tried to kill my mom but my dad got to the prey first and he was poisoned and Cougarpaw might have saved his life!"

Cougarpaw shook his head. "Never regret it.." he whispered and walked to Vinepaw, and Pantherpaw.

Sunpaw:
I bounced to Cougarpaw and said "Oh my gosh! You are the hero of my clan! Even though you aren't in my clan!" I licked his head and said "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I bounced beside him and sat down, holding myself in place. I just wanted to leap onto the high rock and scream out loud, Cougarpaw just saved my dad's life! He's a hero!

Cougarpaw shook his head grunting. "That's what medicine cats are for."

I looked at him and said "You mouse-brain! This was different. You didn't just save any cat! You saved my father! And I thought you were just gonna let him die!" I looked at him and said "Sorry about that. I was just surprised you didn't figure that out yourself." I rubbed him and sat closer to him.

Cougarpaw shook his head. "Still, any medicine cat will do that." he muttered and flinched and she rubbed against and flinched away when she sat closer. "I know." he muttered in his brother's ear.

I was quickly saddened. I looked at Pantherpaw with shocked and sad eyes. I quickly changed my expression and glared at him saying "I heard what you said, and I am not annoying! Do you know what it's like when you find out that your dad has been poisoned and on the brink of dying!?" I glared at him then padded away.

Sunpaw:
I heard Cougarpaw and I stopped. I looked back and said "What do you want? Aren't you gonna laugh at me with your brother?" I looked angrily at Pantherpaw and then I waited for an answer from Cougarpaw.

Bluepaw:
I had just padded into the clearing when I heard what Pantherpaw said. I walked up to him and said sarcastically "Oh, you seemed to have gotten nicer ever since I left you." I padded up to Vinepaw and said "Did you here what Pantherpaw said to my sister?!"

Sunpaw:
I turned around and said "You know, you're right." I walked up to Cougarapw and rubbed his neck.
