Living Darkness~+~ [[ Wild One, M ]]

Emily felt the phone's sides then hit off and let out a sigh of releaf. Groaning she pulled herself up agents the walls. She looked to him, "Sorry" a shiver ran down her spine as she felt eyes watching her but little did she know they were human.


(Hope you don't mind if I allow there to be another human.)

[[ As long as they don't suddenly get out of the cave, I'm fine with anything ]]

John looked over at her when she turned the phone off and sighed in relief. She tensed, and he scanned the tunnel. He rested on the shine of eyes and dipped his eyebrows. The creatures didn't have eyes. "Hello?" He called out softly.

Emily nearly jumped out of her skin when he said hello and went to put a hand pver is mouth as saying shut up when something spoke back, the words were quite and muffled. A little girl walking to them then became more visible, she was dirty and cut up. Emily grimaced at the sight of how horrible she looked. "Who are you?" She asked timidly before a small little dog rushed her to her leg, it was a yorkie but surprisingly didn't bark or whine at the new people, not even a growl. "This is Tom, he was born unable to make noises." She said in a almost no sound whisper. The girls hair was badly matted and her clothes her tattered.

John glanced at her hand gesture and his brows knitted together. The girl stepped out of her hiding place and over to them. She must've been in the caves for a long while, her eyes were a pale silver and her skin was almost translucent. The Yorkie wriggled at the sight of people but didn't bark or yip. John looked back up at the girl as she spoke. She was in need of some TLC, and her voice was gritty. He assumed she hadn't talked for a long while. He watched with curiosity as she stepped barefoot over to them. She was absolutely silent. It was as though she was built to survive within these caves, alongside these animals. The thought made him nervous. What had she been eating this whole time. He put his hand up, palm out, telling her to wait there. "How long have you been here?" He asked, his voice low and in a soft whisper.

The girl didn't stop approaching while saying, "I don't know mister." She looked about six or seven. Finally she stopped when she was just a foot away from him. She looked to Emily and pointed, "She's bleeding, that atracks them. You need to do something or I will." The little girls voice darkened at the I will and sent shivers down Emily's back and she jumped slightly, bumping John, "Sorry." She muttered.

John stood up when the girl kept coming, and he was about a quarter of his body was over her head. He shook his head at the girl and pushed her back into the tunnel. "No, I'm not going to do anything about it. Neither are you" He snapped, not caring who she was. She wasn't truly an innocent child. She was a killing creature who was changed to survive in these terrible conditions.

The little girl sneered and bared her teeth like a animal, "Well you better not get me killed." She said before disappearing then coming back with a worm, "Their always over there, if you run out of food." She said with dull eyes.


(That girl is creepy.)

John tensed at her words but forced the feeling away. He watched as she returned, and raised his eyebrows slightly. She sucked the worm up like it was nothing and he felt his stomach roll. "Yea okay... Thanks for the... tip" He said and sat back down. He shuttered. "Ew" He managed to say about her eating the worm.

The little girl narrowed her eyes, "What? Not satisfying enough? I can show you what else I eat." She said with a evil little grin. "N-no thank you." Emily squeaked out with fear and couldn't help but to get close to John with scard eyes, when she realized what she was doing she said sorry and pulled away. The little dog then walked up to Emily and licked her hand, at least we have one good new nehbor she thought.

John tensed at the woman's touch, and he accepted her apology. His eyes adjust to the darkness slightly, and he turned off the flashlight. He reached into his back and pulled out a small, dim lantern. He lit it, and set it down at his side. He didn't want the flashlight to die.

When the lights went out the little girl crepped up with a sharp rock and aimed to stab Emily but the lights came back on and Emily nearly screamed and really had no way to push the creepy little girl away.

John started at the sight of the girl, and he quickly took the rock from her small hand. He set it down and stood up to grab the girl. She turned around sprinted away though, her footsteps just as quiet as the creature's as she disappeared into the caves. His breathing was heavy as he sat back down. John shook his head and looked over at Emily. "Are you alright?" He asked, his voice still emotionless. Except, of course, for the exasperation that gripped the words.

"A huh." Emily whispered shaking in fear, "Thanks for saving me." She muttered the looked to the rock, it had dry blood on it, which scard her.

John wiped his hands on his jeans after looking at the rock and touched her arm softly. It was a friendly gesture, which he was okay with. "We're going to be fine" He told her, trying to get her to calm down. Nerves were murderous when you found yourself trapped or lost in a cave. This was a similar situation.

"O-ok." Emily stuttered thinking about the girl. A rat soom flew towards them and landed by their feet, it was clawed up. The little girl then appeared with a smile and crocked her head in a creepy way. "What should we do?" Emily whispered into John's ear, "You know I can hear you." The little girl said and made Emily frightened and she really wished she had some one to cuddle up into and stay safe.

John flinched at the girl's voice and he gritted his teeth. If that thing didn't look like a little girl... He thought to himself and shook his head. "If you don't leave us alone" He said, his voice forced to be quiet. "Those creatures will have a nice feast" He said, looking up into her grey eyes. His were pale, but they still held a blue tint. She cocked her head, and he nodded. "You'll be the main course" He spat.

The little girl let out a akward noise that was suppose to be a laugh, "You are so stupid huh?" She asked then stepped out of view while whispering in a quite and eerie tone, "Your to slow...you need meee." Emily did a awarked shake as a tingle of fear ran down her spine.

John shook his head. He stood up quickly and reached for her throat. She ducked, and he grabbed the back of her dress. She grunted and he pushed her against a rock. His hand clasped around her small throat. "No, I don't. We don't." He said through his teeth.

When he did that the girl bit his hand, and literly drew...blood. Her teeth were crooked and jagged and looked disgusting. She started to thrash her legs about, trying to kick him, her long tone nails looked sharp but her fingure nails were worse. She took a hand and raled the long dagger like nails..no claws down his arm and cut through the shirt.

Emily watched wide eyed, the girl didn't seem human, not one bit. "Just let her go." She whispered, not wanting either of them (John and herself) to get hurt.

John winced at her teeth and he moved his hand she her teeth were out of biting rang. He gripped her hands in the other hand and avoided her toenails. "She'll come back if I do" He said.

"Yea but you litery want to murder a little girl?" Emily said before the girl started making a noise like the creatures, it was their help call. She wiggled in his grip trying to get free, she knew how to fight the creatures and how to easily ecsape them. When a creature appeared from the entrance to the cave like room Emily held her breath and the girl escaped John and dashed off, disappearing into thin air.

John cursed under his breath as the girl slipped away, and he froze at the sight of the creature. He crouched down slowly and picked up the flash light. He hesitated. If he flashed the light at the creature it would alert the others. John stood in front of it, watching it's twitching jaw. He willed himself not to cower back.

Emily watched him then took the girls rock and aimed, sharp end first and threw it at it's head. The rock hit and knocked it out instantly, not even giving it time to scream. A little blood driped from it's face.

John almost yelled when the rock flew by him. He looked back at Emily and raised his eyebrows. "Nice" He said quietly before kneeling down by the body. He was curious, he wanted to know more about them. "You're the biologist.. Have you seen anything like them?" He said, turning back to face her.

Emily shook her head and said, "No but if a creature lives in the dark for a very long time and has kids and new generations start popping up eventually they'll evolve to have no eyes and turn into something made for the dark." She said then thought, "Maybe they are decentances of humans?" She said getting curious.
