Shade was greatly excited,licking her sides as he was proud to be a parent. Oh the things he will teach his pups!

Shade woke up earlier,standing beside a shade tree as his eyes fell heavily every few seconds. He grew more awake to a angels voice,his head turning to find the source. Of course,it was his mate,Star.

My head turned and I smiled at Shade, my silver eyes happy.

Shade giggled at her,his tail wagging. Her stomach was swollen greatly,and he couldn't wait for birth. His body lifted as he walked toward her. "Morning."

"Morning." I replied, licking his nose. It was raining, thankfully. I hated it when Shade slept during the day.

Shade's fur grew heavy on him,sticking to his muscular body. It showed his true form,which even then was rather god-like. He licked her back,enjoying the rain.

I smiled and laid on my side. She felt a kick in her stomach.

Shade stared at her,frozen solid. Is.. Is it time?

(Dude, she's been pregnant for 3 days! xD)

She read his expression and chuckled. "Its only a kick, Shade. Calm your tits." She joked humorously.

(Hey! Leave him alone xD)

Shade sighed in relief. "Oh,ok."

Starcatcher smiled and padded up to him, smiling happily. Before anyone would know, she immediately started to lick his face and chin lovingly.

Shade smiled at her affection,returning the licks around her cheeks and ears.

Starcatcher only smiled, and closed her eyes before tucking her head under Shade's chin.

Shade smiled softly,his chin resting on her head as his eyes scanned the wilderness. To be a father was to be an alpha. He would have to protect up to four wolves now,and help feed them. He sighed,knowing the challenges now.

Starcatcher smiled, snuggling closer to Shade. 'Pups.' She thought dreamily. It was her last thought before she fell asleep under his chin.

Shade watched her daze off into a day dream. She slept under his chin,his eyes gazing at her. He let out a silent sigh. "Pups.. Better not take after me in personality." He giggled.

(OK I'm skipping to the birth!)

Shade was on a hunting trip when it happened. Birth. Starcatcher gave birth to 2 pups. 2 males. The biggest and strongest was black with blue eyes, and a nick in his ear. "Skywalker." She decided on a name. The other male was white with blue eyes. "Leo."

Bump?

Shade had brought down a full grown elk all by himself,his body standing tall over the dead beast. He hauled the large,heavy body across fields filled with grass and flowers. What a wonderful time of the year! Spring! Snow was melting,grass was everywhere,and flowers sprouted about every corner! He stopped half way toward the den,the scent of birth and innocent whines reaching his senses. He quickly bounded off toward them,and appearing out of the bushes. He saw the two pups,and his mate,Star. "Oh my lord.." he said,staring down at them.

Starcatcher smiled up at Shade. Starcatcher's eyes glistened with love. "The black male is called Skywalker. The white male is called Leo." She told him, nuzzling the puppies. They yipped and suckled.

Shade's eyes showed his gratefulness towards Star. He walked over cautiously,as if the pups were going to just lunge and feast on his brain. He sniffed them with curiousness before licking their pelts. He stared at the black one with great interest,and the white one with a bit more odd of an look. He never knew something could be so white!

Skywalker gazed up at his father blankly. He yipped and snuggled close to Star. Leo yowled in anger as all the warmth was taken up, so Star curled her tail around him.

Shade smiled down at all of them,his heart warming up just seeing his own flesh and blood. "I'm so proud.." he whispered. He turned around,going to get his kill back.

Star smiled and nodded. Her heart felt like it were on fire!
