Darkness Is Rising. [R - M]

Shade had dragged his kill back to Star,his eyes staring with that little twinkle of hope and pride in his pups. He dropped the head near Star,starting to eat the liver. It was always the part that alphas ate first.

Star growled and stared at the elk. "My teeth and jaws aren't made of steel." She growled, eating the kidneys. The pups whined and she laid back down so they could suckle.

Shade frowned. "Sorry.. Prey are coming out soon. Elk is still the only primary source." He sighed.

"Its alright." She replied, nuzzling his neck. Starcatcher licked her pups.

Shade pulled out the softest part of meat from the elk,dropping it beside Star before licking his muzzle. It was also better then the liver but,it was a good sacrifice anyway. He stared at his pups,his heart thumping as he watched them all suckle.

Star smiled widely, and licked his ears lovingly.

Bump?

He lowered his head as she licked him lovingly,returning the licks along her legs and shoulder.

Starcatcher's eyes twinkled in the moonlight as she gazed up at them. Her heart beated.

Shade turned around,walking away into the den. He couldn't wait util his beloved blood would become alphas themselves.

Star stomped her paw on the ground. "Kota!" She yowled. "Y-Yes, Starlight?" He stammered. "What is this? All you brought back was a rabbit for 8 wolves!?" She snapped. "I'm sorry. I'll go hunting later, I promise." He whined. "No. You'll go hunting NOW." Star growled. "Yes Starlight." He replied, dashing off with Lilac.

Shade was inside his den,talking with a male about his age. He had a golden tint in his fur,and that red glint in his eye. He bore a collar but,the pack thought nothing of it. Shade heard Starlight,sighing. "Lets go Dan." He said as the golden wolf nodded. They padded out if the large den,walking away towards the woods. "Lets find that young wolf and take down an elk. I heard the stag was lost from others."
