I let him kiss my cheek then I climbed out of the car. I walked up the pathway to the front door of my house, noticing my parent's car wasn't in the driveway. They must have left while I was gone. I unlocked and opened the front door then slipped inside. After I closed and locked the door behind me I leaned back against and sighed deeply, closing my eyes.

I drove home that night feeling guilty. Had I pushed her too far? I pulled into the driveway of my house and parked my car. I then walked inside and closed the door. Hearing that I was home, my mom yelled from upstairs, "Hi honey! I left some dinner out for you! how was studying?" "Fine" I say back, and walk to the kitchen. I see that my mom had wrapped peas and chicken on a plate and left it on the counter. I opened it up and placed it in the microwave. When the beep went off, I took it out, placed it on the table and went to the drawer to get utensils I sat down, and ate slowly.

I opened my eyes and pushed away from the door. I walked to my room and peeled off my clothes and grabbed one of my black nightgowns and slipped it on. Then I grabbed a book and slid into my black sheeted bed, resolving to read an not think about what had happened earlier. After a few a minutes I sighed and laid down my book. I grabbed my iPhone which I had put on my nightstand and opened up a text to Garrett and typed, ~Hey. I'm sorry about earlier.~ Then I sent it and anxiously waited for his reply.

I finished up my dry chicken and peas, although was thankful to my mom for the effort of saving it for me. I walk upstairs and go into my room. "Goodnight sweetheart!" She yells from her bedroom. "Goodnight" I say back from down the hall. I walk into my room and take off my shirt and slide off my pants. I close my door and lift up the sheets for me to climb under. I lay in my bed for a few minutes, eyes open, thinking. Then my phone vibrates from my bedside table, a small but bright light illuminating the corner of my room. I reach over and pick up up. It is a text from Star. I reply, 'there's nothing to be sorry about. I put you in an uncomfortable situation'. I put the phone back down and turn myself onto my back, looking up at the ceiling. I am not expecting a response, but wait anyways.

I felt my iPhone vibrate and I lifted it to look at the text. I smiled slightly, seeing that h had answered. ~I still feel bad though. I wish there was something I could do to make it to you.~ I type back then send it. I set my phone on my nightstand and turn on my side to face it. I waited for his answer, not knowing if he would respond or not.
