Indulgence or Addiction? [~Blaze~ M-R]

Charlotte

Smiling as he draped an arm around her shoulders, Charlotte walked at his side, saying, "To Lenny's. He'll buy all this stuff in a heart beat." Before her mind could process it, her hand already lifted to catch the car keys, and her eyes instantly shot over to Crowe to give him a questioning look. She opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it, unable to risk the chance he might come to his wits and take the keys back. She loved driving his BMW, and every chance she could get to drive it, she was bound to snatch it up. A giddiness that bordered childish settled within her chest as she slipped inside the car, stuck the keys in the ignition, and was greeted by the BMW's low purr, Charlotte fighting hard to contain her goosebumps. She gave Crowe another questioning look as he leaned over her lap, but soon gave him a toothy grin once the roof peeled back and the windows rolled down. Within a single, fluid motion, she put the car in drive, rammed her foot against the gas pedal, and sent the car speeding off towards Lenny's.

Crowe sighed as he leaned back, no, was thrown back by the car, enjoying the wind and sun in his face. At least the nice weather could distract him a little. When they arrived at Lenny's he quickly grabbed the bags, swinging the over his back. But when they walked in they were greeted heavily as they were frequent customers. Crowe just sighed, flopping all of the bags on the counter, "Hey Lenny, how ya' doin'?" He quickly cut to the chase as Lenny started looking through the bags, "How much Lenny?" Lenny just grinned and sighed, "Well, I don't know if you guys robbed a bank or what...but I'll give ya' 215 big ones, top price." Crowe smiled a bit, looking over at Charlotte with a nod. But then he asked, "Cash?" Lenny almost looked offended, "Do I ever NOT give you cash? You must think me a damn fool." Before Crowe could say another word Lenny disappeared into the mysterious 'back room' to get the money. Then he looked over at Charlotte and whisper/yelled "YES!"

Charlotte

Charlotte walked into Lenny's alongside Crowe, giving a nod of greeting to Lenny as her partner plopped the bags o' goodies on the counter, of which Lenny, not exactly being the most subtle of people, began to immediately sift through. At hearing his offer, her actions mimicked Crowe's, her eyes trailing after Lenny for a moment before finding their way back over to her partner. Her grin widened at his whisper-yell, and she raised her hand for a high-five, not even bothering to mask her enthusiasm. The stacks of cash were smacked on the counter with a heavy thud and Lenny's hands swiftly worked to stash the bags behind the counter. "Pleasure doin' business with ya' again. Ya' know where ta' come next time ya' get your hands on s'more trinkets," Lenny said, and, with that, turned his attention towards emptying out a bag, and placing the it on the counter. "Sure thing, Lenny," murmured Charlotte and began preoccupying herself with jamming the money into the bag, gathering it into her arms, and making her way back out to the car. Once in, she tossed the bag in the back, and sighed, happy, before starting up the BMW and putting it in drive. "Bar time, thank God," she muttered, stepping on the gas pedal, and giving a brief, toothy grin over to Crowe.

Charlotte

Charlotte's head instinctively whipped towards Crowe at hearing Charlie to give him an intimidating look, failing, and settling for a playful glare, but it was only momentary, facing back towards the road with a grin spread ear to ear. "What better place to blow our money?" she replied, still smiling like a kid. That place has the best alcohol, I swear. Why would we wanna go to any other place? It hadn't taken long to arrive at the bar, given she'd been exceeding the speed limit by at least 30 miles per hour, making her question why she hadn't gotten pulled over by a policeman. Eagerly, Charlotte hopped out from the car, taking a stack of cash with her, and hastily entered the bar after discreetly slipping a large lump of the money into her shoe, and a wad into her pocket. A warm, welcomed feeling made her sigh with contentment, and she soon came to realize she felt at home. Yes, yes, cliche, but honest. She gave Crowe an ecstatic glance before plopping down at the bar, beaming, and ordered a favorite drink of hers, Jack & Coke. She half-turned to look at Crowe while waiting for her drink to arrive, cheeks starting to hurt from smiling so wide so her grin softened, and said, "We're gonna have to come here more often, Crowe."

Charlotte

Charlotte gave a half-snort half-chuckle. "No kidding." The clink of glass against wood caused her eyes to dart back towards the bar, her hand immediately swiping up her drink, and took in a large swig, loving the warm burn it brought down her throat and into her stomach. Her gaze skimmed her surroundings for a moment, sipping on her drink, before a sudden pressure on her rear made her freeze for a moment. Jumping from her seat to whirl around a complete 180 degrees, she turned to face a man, smiling smugly, with his hand moving to tuck into his pocket, while her own clung against the blade strapped to her thigh.

"What's a pretty thing like you doing in a gruff place like this?" he purred, breath laden with the scent of alcohol, though his tone wouldn't show it.

"Don't touch me like that. Please," she said stiffly through clenched teeth, her grip on her drink tightening as she fought the urge to stick her blade somewhere into his flesh.

The man only chuckled before lifting a hand onto her waist, leaning himself closer as she tried her best to back away. "How about like this?" he purred once more, face now mere inches from hers, Charlotte fighting hard to keep her dagger sheathed as her teeth ground together.

[I really hope I did that scene at least somewhat right and non-awkward sounding.]

Charlotte

Charlotte relaxed a tad as the man had been pushed away, shoulders slumping slightly, only to tense once again when seeing it was Crowe who pushed the man. Heart ramming into her chest, she sipped onto her drink with barely noticeably shaking hands as the men spoke, balancing herself onto the balls of her feet in anticipation, nerves on edge. Two men arguing about something dealing with a woman and alcohol really don't mix. When Crowe had turned, Charlotte sighed with relief and took a step to thank him, but soon froze, seeing what had happened next. The blood pouring from Crowe's nose made her stomach churn, ironic given her profession, but seeing the blood of someone she truly cared for made her sick. But, however, what even made her more sick was knowing what was about to happen next. Charlotte had already begun hastening to the men before they hit the floor, throwing out her arm to yank Crowe away only to be urged back against the bar by a biker-looking man in an attempt to shield her from the fight. Frustrated and desperate, she balled her fists at her side for a moment before working to push the man away. It'd taken a few moments, but she managed to pry to man away only to get an eyeful of the drunken man, now swollen-faced, come marching toward her. Her eyes searched frantically for Crowe, but becoming even more frantic when she had caught sight of him, surging towards the man with his hands fixed in the position to snap the man's neck. Within a hasty, single motion, she had quickly slipped around the man and wedged herself between him and Crowe, inhaling deeply before belting, "Daniel! Think about what the hell you're doing!"

Charlotte

Charlotte sighed heavily as he came out of raged dazed, half from frustration and half from relief. She eyed him with squinted eyes a moment before her gaze flickered over to two approaching security guards, knowing all too well who they were coming for, and apparently Crowe did, too, because he willingly walked ahead of them. Following suit, Charlotte strode by his side, eyes fixed forward while her hands clenched and unclenched at her sides. They were soon both outside and as Crowe had nearly spoke, Charlotte smacked her hand hard across his face, sending him a murderous glare. "Don't," she hissed quietly and hastened to the car. She slipped inside after Crowe had opened the door and bit roughly at the inside of her cheek, and she continued to do so the entire way home, not looking for conversation. It seemed an eternity before they made it back to her place, and she quickly hopped out of the car as he opened the door open for her once again. She didn't allow her eyes to land on him for even a moment as she hustled to her house, nearly making it to the door before Crowe's hand on her shoulder made her freeze. She bit her lip as he spoke, eyes trailing to the ground as she heard him ascend the footsteps. She raised her hand to turn the doorknob but halted as he spoke, half-turning to see what he was talking about, confused. The next thing she knew, her back was against the house with his hands placed on either side of her head. Her heart hammered in her chest as he began to close the gap between their lips, and when their lips met, she was surprised her heart hadn't pounded straight out of her chest. Taken off guard, she was hesitant, but it hadn't taken her long to wrap her arms around his neck and match the motion of her lips with his. She pressed her body against his and quickened the speed of the kiss, a hand reaching out behind her to search blindly for her door handle.

As they kissed, Daniel growled in a strange hunger he had never felt before with her. For her. His lips softly moved down her jawline, his tongue lightly sliding down her smooth skin before he kissed right under her earlobe. One of his hands moved to press against her chest, right above her pounding heart in a gesture as if to calm it. But with a slight glimpse he caught sight of her hand searching for the knob, and not thinking about what she would do he gently gripped her hand and laid it on the cool metal. But then he refocused on her. Within a moment he was moving downward to her neck where he kissed almost like a vampire would bite, but continued along what was showing of her shoulder until he removed his lips from her momentarily to return to her own lips. But still he had that near frantic movements with her lips. After a moment though he removed his hands from her chest and hand, and pressed closer to her, removing what space-if any-that was between them. Gently he laid one hand on her hip, and one holding her cheek to rub her cheek gently with a thumb.

Charlotte

Charlotte's hand that hadn't been on the doorknob gripped Crowe's shoulder as he gently kissed her jawline, and she suppressed a shiver once he kissed beneath her earlobe, biting down onto her lip. She could feel herself begin to arch against the house once he placed a hand on her chest, her hand's grip on his shoulder tightening. She'd been so caught up in the moment she didn't realize her hand was still searching for the doorknob until his hand guided hers to it, greeted by cold metal. As his kisses trailed down along her neck and shoulder, she could feel herself melt, her lips meeting back with his greedily. Her hand worked earnestly to turn the doorknob and the door soon swung open, with both of Charlotte's hands cupped around the back of his neck to lead him inside, her hunger for the man keeping her lips moving with his.

Charlotte didn't object when she was lifted against the wall, her legs being wrapped around his waist, lips never lingering from his for a moment. As his hand slipped beneath her shirt, she moaned quietly against his lips, causing a blush to crawl onto her cheeks with silent embarrassment. However, she didn't allow her sudden bashfulness faze her, and she brought her tongue to grapple his, movements slow at first but soon picking up in speed. With a hand running through his hair, she let the other wander beneath the hem of his shirt to touch his bare skin and finely toned muscles, her fingers moving up and down his torso.

Charlotte

Charlotte nearly went bezerk when he tossed off his shirt, hands scrambling back onto his bare skin, legs clinging onto his waist. Another shiver made its way through her body as his hand moved along the her stomach, and one of her hands hastened to take off her shirt, but halted midway through once she'd realized what she'd been doing. Mentally cursing herself for allowing herself to get lost in the moment, she pushed against his chest lightly, unwinding her legs and setting her feet back onto the floor. She'd given herself a moment to collect herself, chest heaving with quick breaths, as her eyes scanned the floor and she shook her head. "We..." she began, then sighed, "We can't do this, Crowe."

Charlotte

Charlotte tensed as Crowe continued to kiss her, pressing her back against the wall while her hands balled into fists at her sides and biting roughly on the inside of her cheek to keep from saying anything she may regret. His kisses soon ceased and her eyes trailed after him as he backed against the before releasing a silent breath, making her way into the kitchen. Opening the fridge, she reached out to grab a beer, whirling around to find a beer opener until her breath hitched in her throat at the sight of a man standing directly in front of her, smirking like a wolf. Instict told her to smash her beer against his head but he was able to lift a damp cloth to her mouth and nose quicker, sliding behind her as she began to lose sensation within her limbs. The bottle slipped from her grasp and crashed to the ground noisily, its contents splattering across the floor along with its shards. Charlotte clawed and pried at the man's hands profusely but he wouldn't budge, and her body began to slump against the man, her movements slow. A distant murmur of "You'll do nicely" was the last she heard before she lost consciousness.

Charlotte

Charlotte wasn't entirely sure what pissed her off more: the fact this man had captured and raped her multiple times, or that she wasn't aware enough to stop it from happening in the first place. Regardless, she was still furious, but over the time she'd been here, she'd been too exhausted to express it. How long have I been here? She gave a tug at her chained wrist and winced as the metal dug into her raw skin. If it didn't work the first 50 times, it's not gonna work now, Charlotte. Her eyes surveyed the room, dreading the moment when the man would return, but froze dead on Crowe as he seemed to finally come around, a spark of hope igniting in her chest. She opened her mouth to speak but before a she could make a single noise, in strode her torturer, and she could feel herself immediately tense. Hearing Crowe's scream made her teeth grit so hard they squeaked, but she knew well enough to keep from saying anything now. His next words made her eyes widen, and a pain scream left her as he forced himself into her, shutting her eyes as tight as she could and stuggling against her chains.

Charlotte

Charlotte gritted her teeth as he slammed even harder, her fingernails digging into her palm roughly enough to draw blood as a tear beaded down the side of her face. The pressure of his lips against hers made her stomach churn, and her head quickly whipped to the side, only to have an even more stomach-churning phrase whispered into her ear. "Why the fuck are you doing this?!" she yelled, surprised she could even make a noise that loud, and yanked hard at the chains.
