halum looks for a possible place for his mate

*I land to make sure this land is safe for my mate and the rest of the pack*

*i land beside him and look around*

*I bark and jump tackling her to the ground laughing*
"I've been waiting for you!"

*i laugh* "well i'm here now"

*I sniff the air and nod*

"is something wrong"

*grinning I shake my head* "No, nothing is wrong" *he licks her muzzle and sighs*

*i smile and nuzzle him*

*I nuzzle her back and go behind her asking If I may, but not for pups yet*

*i nod*

*I mount her and pump, gripping her sides with my paws and holding her tight*

*i stand there and wait for him to be done*

*I get down feeling her upset, looking down I say* "let's go explore and make sure the area is safe, for the packs pups" *I make my wings disappear and take off running and vanish behind some bushes* "and I will find a place for us here, for our family. When we can have some pups, but not till food is plentiful" *I mutter quietly to myself*

*i run after him*

*after running for a long time I stop and rest. laying down I watch wildfire thoughtfully*

*i stop running and walk over to a stream and drink*

*panting I shake my fur free of all the leaves and pine needles*

*i walk over and lay down beside him*

*I smile and nuzzle her then lay my head down on my paws and doze*

*i lay my head on his neck and fall asleep*

*I sleep quietly and keep alert to the surroundings*

*i wake up an hour later and nuzzle him*

*I smile and sit up stretching my wings*

*i stand up and stretch*

"good morning baby. Let's hunt?" *I yawn and look at her lovingly*
