I smiled and gently licked her back lovingly.

(No, never even heard of it.)

Carol sighed.

(Dang it! I started up an RPG based on it and no one's replied to it yet!)

I smiled at her and nuzzled her neck.

(That sucks. This topic is going no where, do you really wanna finish it?)

(I know. You could make Carol have her pups.)

Another month passed and Carol lied inside with her owner and the vet giving birth. So far there was seven puppies and her owner didn't know they weren't from a champion dog.

Night

I slipped inside the hole in the fence and looked around for Carol. Not seeing her I paced around the yard, wondering where she was.

Carol whined as the last, twelfth, puppy finally slid out. It was a stillbirth. The vet picked it up before she had time to react and went to a area to examine the small black body. Carol whined but focused on bringing her pups to nurse while she cleaned them. However her owner looked horrified and called the owner of the male she had bred to annoucing the pups arivel and that he needed to come see them imeadently do to how horrible they looked...in show worthy. She was blaming it on the combination of the two dogs and she said if not that it must be the male.

Night

I heard whining coming from inside the house and immediately recognized it as Carol's whining. I became increasingly worried, wondering if she was okay.

Carol watched as the vet came back in with a now moving black puppy, she Yipped happily quickly nudging it to her belly. When the vet left her owner angerly dragged Carol snarling out. She shoved her out side. The dog whorled around barking fiercely while pawing. After a few more moments tweleve pups in a basket were tossed out. As some flew out she gently caught one in her mouth.

(I am sorry I haven't been on today. I spent most of the day at the hospital. My aunt has been there for almost a month and today she started to go downhill. She doesn't want help and the doctors are giving her 48 hours.)

Night

I acted fast. I quickly caught the other puppies that had flown out and placed them in the basket.

Carol sighed but noticed one pup wasn't caught, it squirmed on the grass. It had a little blood on it and she rushed over. It was fine just a little head wound...little did she know this pup would be a retard. She picked it up placing it in the basket then picked up the basket and under the porch where it wasn't so hot.

Night

I watched Carol then walked over to her and put the pup I had caught in the basket.

Carol whined at him, she didn't know what to do.

Night

I gently nuzzled her, hoping to comfort her.

Carol Nuzzled him back and with a sigh currled up around the basket.

I smiled, watching her.
