It's Not Enough [R] [Open]

Stella

I grabbed Lucas's arm and gently tugged, saying, "Come on Lucas. Let's go."

Stella

I rushed after him and saw him slam his fist into the wall and I gasped. "Are you alright? That had to have hurt." I said, rushing over to him.

"I'm fine." He growled, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. "Jake just.. gets on my bad side. I get into one more fight with him and I'm out of this college."

Stella

"That sucks. I wish there was something I could do to help." I replied, a little concerned for his safety.

"Not much you can do about temper." Lucas sighed, smiling sadly at her. "I better get to class, meet you here after?"

Stella

"Sure." I replied, smiling. I gave a little wave then turned around and headed for my class. I sat down at my desk and turned my attention to the front of the room. Now only if my mind would stop chanting "Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy." so I could concentrate.

Lucas turned the other way, heading towards his class. Melody joined him, starting up a conversation. The two were laughing by the time they got to class, and when it ended, Melody departed, and Adam joined him. "Wanna go to the club tonight?"

Stella

When class was over I headed to the spot where Lucas said we would meet and waited for him to get there.

Adam nodded, and followed Lucas. The two smiled when they saw Stella, and Adam quickly texted Lucy. "We'll just wait for Lucy. Melody is loaded down with homework, so it'll just be us."

Stella

I smiled when I caught sight of Lucas and Adam. "Alright. Would you guys mind trying out a new club tonight?" I replied, looking at Lucas and Adam for their opinions.

Lucas shrugged, looking at Adam for approval. "Why not?" They nodded, and Lucas shoved his hands in his pocket. Adam stumbled forward, Lucy hugging him from behind. "Where we going tonight?" She asked.

Stella

"A place called The Coffin Club. It's sort of a gothic club but it's pretty fun. I've been there quite a few times." I piped up, smiling at Lucy when she came walking up.

"I've heard of it before. They play Pierce the Veil alot, don't they?" Lucas looked over at Lucy, the good girl who had never even heard a metal core song before. Chuckling to himself, Lucas looked back at Stella.

Stella

"And Evanescence and some Black Veiled Brides." I replied, smiling at Lucas while he chuckled. "They have pretty good drinks too. They offer...special ones that are extremely good." I said, making sure not to say too much.

(I thought it would be interesting to incorporate vampires into this and maybe have Stella be one. But if you don't want to it's fine.)

"Awesome." Lucas grinned. "My kinda place. Speaking of that, tomorrow, you wanna drop by one of our band practices?" He asked, brushing some hair out of the way. 

[That'd be cool.]

Stella

"Sure. I'd love too." I replied. ~After you feed so you don't bite him.~ that little voice whispered. ~SHUT UP!~ I ordered it. I smiled at Lucas then said, "Well, shall we get going?"

(Awesome! I'll have her be a vampire that's reluctant to accept what she is. I think it will add an interesting twist.)

"Lead the way." Lucas gestured towards the sidewalk, and stopped for a moment as he remembered something. "Oh, and can I see your phone?" 

[I gtg for the night.]

Stella

I frowned for a moment then shrugged and handed him my phone. "What do you want with it?" I asked, curious.

(Awwwwww. Okay. Bye!)

He quickly typed something into the phone, and handed it back to her, now with the address of where he practiced and his number. "That." He replied, and kept walking.

Stella

"Oh." I replied, walking after him. I quickly moved to walk beside him, my phone now tucked into the black satchel at my side.

After a bit of walking, he recognized the club she was talking about, and headed inside, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the light. Without sitting down, he quickly ordered a drink, and returned to their side.

Stella

I walked inside and headed towards the bar. I ordered one of the special Bloody Mary's and sauntered back over to Lucas and the others. Then I heard a squealed, "Rosethorn!" and then I felt arms thrown around me from behind. I squeaked then laughed, realizing who it was. I turned around when the arms released me and exclaimed, "Onyx! Scarlet!" I embraced them as we chattered and squealed happily. Then I grabbed their hands and turned around to face Lucas, Adam, and Lucy. "Lucas, Adam, Lucy, I would like you to meet Onyx and Scarlet." I introduced them.

(Rosethorn is Stella's real name but she uses Stella so people don't figure out she's a vampire. I thought it'd be cool if she had a different name that the vampires address her by.)

Lucas tilted his head, watching the display of friendly affection with curiosity. He wasn't sure what "Rosethorn" was, but he just assumed it was a nickname. Lucas offered a friendly smile when he was introduced. Lucy waved, smiling happily and Adam wrapped his arm around her. Lucas took a sip of his drink, and heard Lucy and Adam move from behind him, off to a booth or to dance, something of the sort.
